The Eagles have been one of the most disappointing teams of the year. Vince Young dubbed the Eagles the “Dream Team”, but that moniker sure doesn’t fit. The Eagles have lost three of their last four games as they have not been putting much of an effort up lately. The Seahawks lost a game that should have won last week against the Redskins, but they are a tough home team. Here is a look at the matchups in this game:
When the Eagles have the ball: The Eagles could be in trouble tonight as they are banged up on offense. Lesean McCoy has a banged up toe and he was going to have trouble with the Seahawks’ D even if they was 100% healthy as they are only giving up 100.9 yards rushing per game and 3.5 yards per carry. Vince Young needs to protect the ball better instead of throwing the ball up for grabs as he has been lately. WRs Riley Cooper and Desean Jackson are going to have to have good games tonight if the Eagles are going to win. TE Brent Celek has been playing well lately,...
BEST OF MAXIM
I just don’t even know what to say. Vince Young was just awful. I truly cannot wait for Michael Vick’s return next Sunday in Miami. Young’s inconsistency and his brutal turnovers are what helped the Eagles drop their second straight. He finished 17 for 29 with 208 yards, one touchdown pass (a shovel pass) and [...]
The Eagles get a chance to wash off the stink of their blowout loss to the Patriots early this week. They travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football in a matchup that looked a lot more interesting in the offseason. (Heck, it looked potentially interesting last week if the Seahawks and…
Julian Edelman showed his athleticism with a red zone stop of a scrambling Vince Young that ended up keeping the Eagles off the scoreboard.
Here’s what we learned while wondering how much lower the Eagles can go during a 31-14 loss to the Seahawks Thursday night. 1. Vince Young kneeled down, trying to control his emotions, stunned by the gut-punch of a pick six he had just thrown. Young’s interception essentially ended Philly’s chances of winning Thursday night. At least…
The Philadelphia Eagles basically eliminated themselves from any hopes of a Post-Season by losing to the Seahawks 31-13 in Week 13.
Philly was forced to play their third consecutive game without starter Mike Vick who was ruled inactive with a rib injury. Vince Young got the start and ended up throwing four interceptions. Young managed to pass for 208 yards during the...
Eagles at Seahawks Florio’s take: Vince Young gets another crack at Pete Carroll, nearly six years after Young stole from Carroll an NCAA title that the NCAA would have stolen from Carroll last year. The last time the Eagles faced a short week amid so many challenges and distractions, they blew out the Cardinals on…
Free NFL Betting Odds & Picks for the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Seattle Seahawks week 13 NFL matchup. The Eagles are a 2.5 point favorite. The over/under is 44.5. Seattle’s passing game may be forced to play without Sidney Rice and Mike Williams on Thursday which would be a major loss. Vince Young and/or Michael Vick are coming to town. Its NFL predictions time.
I could tell you about the piss poor tackling. I could write about Marshawn Lynch’s stupid 15-yard touchdown run that set the tone. I could talk to you about Vince Young in what appeared to be his last game as a starter before hitting free agency … [visit site to read more]
