The Eagles and Steelers defense will likely stone cold knock each other out in a heavyweight battle that defensive minded fans will love.
All the big boys are back for the ‘Burgh as Troy Polamalu and James Harrison are both back and they will be attempting to harass Michael Vick like any defense in the NFL.
The team speed is up for debate as to whether or not they possess an elite defense still. Lawrence Timmons and LaMarr Woodley can go off on any quarterback and Vick better be wary of those monsters outside of Casey Hampton, Harrison and Polamalu.
Andy Reid shockingly ran the ball 36 times and threw it just 30, although it actually makes a ton of sense. Keeping Vick clean and healthy in the pocket is imperative to ensure Philly makes the postseason this season.
Running it with LeSean McCoy 25 times should not only keep the Eagles alive in the long run, but it also allows the opposing defense to load up the box if the running game is effect...

Months ago Michael Vick said he would like to own a dog. Now it appears the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback may have a dog.
Vick posted a photo of himself and his daughter studying. While Vick blurred out the picture of the game film he was looking at he did leave something for all to see. A box of Milk-Bone dog biscuits appears on Vick’s table suggesting that there is some presence...
Obviously, whether or not Michael Vick is currently a dog owner would certainly cause a fair share of discussion. And if it were true, Vick would be on the receiving end of endless criticism and even absolute condemnation from individuals fervently against the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback ever being responsible for the care of another dog in light [...]
A photo Michael Vick shared via Twitter on Thursday has caused speculation that he and his family may have a new dog.Vick tweeted a photo of himself and his daughter doing work at a table inside their home. Vick appeared to be studying film, while his daughter appeared to be doing homework. Eagle-eyed Adam Reigner of WIP in Philly noticed that in the top right part of the photo there...
The Dallas Cowboys mercifully have a bye this week, giving Jason Garrett & Co. a chance to regroup in time for a Week 6 game at Baltimore. The other three teams in the NFC East all play at 1 p.m. on Sunday, with two of them playing at home and one on the road. Here are 5 THINGS TO WATCH FOR as the NFC East heads into Week 5 of the 2012 season. Can Vick continue to torment Pittsburgh...
The Steelers have are in rough shape. At 1-2, the team has looked lost much of this season, especially on defense. Despite dealing with key injuries to James Harrison and Troy Polamalu, we still expect the Steelers to play great defense, and that's something they haven't done this season.
Although the aforementioned players will be back in action on Sunday, it still...
Michael Vick got out of jail in 2009, expressed interest in returning to the NFL, and eventually landed with the Philadelphia Eagles, supplanting Kevin Kolb and then Donovan McNabb at quarterback. Now Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says there's a good chance all of that could have happened just down the road. Tomlin was seriously interested in bringing Vick to the Steelers as a backup...
Pittsburgh Steelers strong safety Ryan Clark scouted Michael Vick's most recent game and didn't like what he saw.
Shades of the old Michael Vick.
Vick enjoyed his best rushing performance since midway through last season when he gained 49 yards on six scrambles on Sunday night during Philadelphia's 19-17 victory over the New York Giants. If this is a sign of things...
The Pittsburgh Steelers may be just 1-2 and coming off of a much needed bye week, and it appears as if they are getting healthy at just the right time. When the Steelers play host to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, they will be at close to full strength for the first time in the 2012 NFL season with the returns of Rashard Mendenhall, Troy Polamalu and James Harrison.

We had a pretty solid week last week, going 3-1-1. Our first week with two guest pickers saw Cowboys cheerleader Courtney Cook go 1-3-1 and Panthers ice girl Danielle go 2-2-1. Yep, BC took down not one, but two hot chicks in one week. This week we’re going to try to do the same as Courtney Cook returns and joins sports anchor Chelsa Messinger. Chelsa knows her stuff, but going...
Philadelphia: The question here is, which Eagles team will show up?Will it be the team that showed a lot of toughness in gritting out a close game against arch rival New York Giants last week, or the team that went out on the road in Week 3 and rolled over for a decent but not great Cardinals team? If the latter shows up, the Steelers will likely eat the Eagles for lunch.Key to...
Depending on who you believe, the distance between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia is 300 miles, although either team’s fans could be in each other backyard’s regardless of where they live in Pennsylvania. It’s been hard, if not impossible, for the Philadelphia Eagles to compete with the legacy of the Pittsburgh Steelers.Pittsburgh boasts six Super Bowl titles, whereas Philadelphia...
I will never be the one to say any regular season matchup with the Steelers is predictable...but the Eagles have a terrific chance to go into Game 5 of the 2012 season with Pittsburgh and set the tone for a playoff run.
You may say it's too early to begin speaking of playoffs ("Playoffs! Are you kidding me!!), but to come out of Heinz Field this Sunday with a "...
