Found August 02, 2012 on Philly Sports Nut:

The Eagles first preseason game is a week away.  We can almost hear the leather popping and the fight song playing. Let’s get more amped up for the upcoming season by continuing with our review of great Eagles from the past.

Scroll down slowly and then tell us how many clues it takes you to figure this one out.

1. He started his professional career with two seasons in the USFL

2. He played for the Eagles for eight seasons.

3. In 2008, ESPN  rated him the best player in Eagle history.

4. He made the Pro-Bowl 13 times.

5. He recorded ten or more sacks in nine consecutive seasons.

6. His nickname was the “Minster of Defense.” [you shouldn't need this clue].

To help those who don’t have it memorized, I will keep adding in one line of the fight song as we go along, so we are able to sing it in unison by the time of the opening kickoff on September 9.

Fly Eagles Fly, on the road to victory.

The ball comes loose and Cooper stays down clutching his shoulder. The...

Time to put up or shut up for the Philadelphia Eagles

The longest tenured coach in the NFL right now is Andy Reid. He has been the coach in Philadelphia since 1999. Since he has taken over the Eagles, they have won 6 division titles. Been to the NFC Championship game 5 times(which he is 1-4), and has made it to the Super Bowl just 1 time (which he lost to New England 24-21). Since 1999 the rival Giants have made it to the Super Bowl...

Kinda makes you wonder if Andy Reid's Training Camp format may need to be adjusted in the future... but... for now, the initial damage is still containable...  The Eagles head into Thursday with their entire starting defensive line sidelined by injuries, a potentially troublesome situation if some guys don't recover as expected. But with Jason Babin (calf strain), Cullen...

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has some advice for Pittsburgh Steelers restricted wide receiver Mike Wallace, who has yet to report and sign his $2.742 tender offer, "Holding out just doesn’t end up being worth it." Eagles trade linebackers to Colts to get CB Thomas

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired cornerback Kevin Thomas and a conditional seventh-round draft pick in a trade with the Indianapolis Colts that sent linebackers Moise Fokou and Greg Lloyd to the Colts. 2012 Top 9 Bold Fantasy Football Predictions

9. Michael Vick will finish in the top 5 ranked Quarterbacks. After a disappointing campaign last season, both team-wise and individually, Vick will bounce back stronger than ever. He finished outside the top 10 QB ranks via Yahoo last season.
