I do not like making season predictions.
Some of it is due to superstition, some of it is because I don’t fully understand the point of them. Yet I do comprehend the need for something tangible heading into the regular season. In a vast expanse of the unknown, a prediction provides some context. Something to hold on to. A discussion point.
And that’s where it gets challenging. At least for me. Do you make the prediction for what you want to see happen? Is it what you expect to see? Should these factors be one in the same?
The hope of each and every Eagles fan is the same heading into each season. Whether we state it publicly or not, we wonder if this is the year. Is this our year? That hope is always there.
So, moving on to prediction. The Eagles will go 10-6 this year. A solid record that reflects the fact that they have to navigate through a very difficult first half of their schedule. And yes, Philadelphia will likely ...
