TEAMS: Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals
When you’re a two time Pro-Bowl defensive end playing in a wide-nine technique, you have one major function on the field. Sacks! And when you are Jason Babin and you walk away from the win against the Baltimore Ravens without any, you’d expect Andy Reid or Jim Washburn to have some sort of punishment. An incentive to make sure you get it done the next time around.
But Babin didn’t walk up to the mic after the game yesterday with excuses. He didn’t wait for Washburn to give him the sit-down. He came up with his own way. Jason went to his fan club site and posted the following:
“To all my fans. Since I didn’t record a sack on Sunday, I am putting some special things on the site for my fans. Take advantage of it because it stops on Sunday. 20% off with the proper discount code “NOSACKS””
Now we all know Babin will be back next week and ready to give Kevin Kolb a look at the bright blue sky. But since this sale stops on Sunday, I’m assuming Babin is making a pledge to get this done.
