If you follow the Eagles closely, you probably know that rookie first round draft pick Danny Watkins was planning to be a professional firefighter before he entered into a football career.
So of course one of his first purchases with his rookie contract was a brand new firetruck, which he is shown driving here with teammate and fellow rookie offensive lineman Jason Kelce filming.
You can see Watkins’ huge grin as he drives his firetruck down the road, as well as Kelce’s laughing in the background.

In a move I consider surprising the Philadelphia Eagles will not be increasing ticket prices for the 2012 NFL season. The reason I find this surprising is that the team only ranks 20th out of 32 teams on average ticket prices (not including premium luxury seats) and have a season ticket waiting list of 40,000 fans. According to Pro Football Focus, the Philadelphia Eagles had the worst tackling cornerbacks in the league in the 2011 season.
I’m really shocked to hear this. Most of my memories from the 2011 Eagles are Nnamdi Asomugha, Asante Samuel, and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie laying huge hits on opposing players. (Yes. That was sarcasm.)
