Found May 15, 2012 on Philly Sports Muse:
I think we know at least one person who performed well at rookie mincamp this weekend. The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Monday that they signed DB Wade Bonner to their 90-man roster. Bonner participated in the camp on a tryout basis. As the team was already at the 90 person limit, Philadelphia released WR Darnell Williams in order to make room for Bonner. Bonner (5-10, 195), played in 48 games at Mississippi State and in three seasons  as a defensive back  tallied 125 tackles and 2.5 sacks in three seasons as a defensive back, including a career-high 66 tackles as a senior in 2011. He started his college career on the offensive side of the ball, in 2008 spending his time as a reserve running back, receiver, and return man. Wade Bonner joins two familiar faces on the Birds–Fletcher Cox and Jamar Chaney were former college teammates. Want more Philly Sports Muse?
