Found September 18, 2012 on The Juicy Online:
There's some hope for the troubled wide receiver Chad Johnson, as it's being said that Johnson is being eyed by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Although the Eagles are 2-0, thus far in the season, in the last 24 hours Johnson has began tweeting about the City of Philadelphia, which has a few in the city believing that the Eagles are gearing up to sign the free agent wide receiver.

5 hours past my bed time... if I miss this flight to Philly in the morning it'd definitely be a pisstified moment...
— Chad Johnson (@ochocinco) September 18, 2012
Another tweet, Johnson asked the question about if there's any good soul spots in Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Eagles are already banged up at the wide receiver core. Wide receiver Riley Cooper hasn't played yet due to a broken collarbone. DeSean Jackson played last week but strained his hamstring days before the game against Baltimore Ravens and Jeremy Maclin re-aggravated a hip pointer during the game against the Ravens and is unlikely to practice on Wednesday.

Although the Eagles look banged up on paper, it's still UNLIKELY that the Eagles would be interest in Johnson given he was arrested last month on domestic violence (head-butting) against his wife.

Offseason upgrades on defense paying off for the Philadelphia Eagles

Image via Eagles Addict It defies logic—the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles have been able to overcome nine turnovers in two games to secure wins and and move to 2-0 record to start the 2012 season.  Pulling off this rare feat has been dificult—a single point secured the victory in both games, the first time this has happened in successive contests in NFL history. But as we...

Eagles vs. Cardinals Week 3 Preview By Both the Eagles and Cardinals are feeling good about themselves after posting impressive victories last weekend. Can Philadelphia keep momentum high with a win over Arizona in Week 3? So that’s now two Eagles wins to start the season, albeit two wins that were both decided by a solitary point. A week after escaping with a 17-16...

Eagles getting Nick Foles ready to step in?

According to, the Philadelphia are preparing rookie quarterback Nick Foles to step in, if Michael Vick struggles or gets injured. “Is Andy Reid secretly getting rookie QB Nick Foles ready in case Michael Vick crumbles? NFC East Beat: Philadelphia Eagles Winning Ugly

5 + 4 = 2.Somehow, improbably, the Philadelphia Eagles have 2 wins despite turning the ball over 9 times in eight quarters. It’s one thing to overcome sloppy play to beat Cleveland (as Philadelphia did in Week 1), but it’s somewhat shocking to be able to overcame those same mistakes against a team that bills itself as a Super Bowl contender.  But that’s just what the Eagles...

Chad Johnson Eagles Rumors Could Be True

Could the rumor be true? With receiver Jeremy Maclin fighting an injury, it only makes sense for the Eagles to bring in a new addition to the wide receiver spot. Chad Johnson might have some trouble past, but the Eagles will serve as his rehabilitation center. The Eagles coaching staff has had alot of experience with discarted players trying to re build their image. he would have...

Andy Reid, Jeff Fisher Mustache Feats Bring Memories of Greatest Mustaches in Sports History (Photos)

The NFL has had its share of famous mustaches over time. Mike Ditka, Joe Namath and Walter Payton all made the mustache part of their iconic look. Now whiskers are again gaining buzz around the league. Head coaches Andy Reid and Jeff Fisher have both seen their mustaches get attention this season. If Eagles can limit mistakes, 2012 should be a lot of fun

It may not be how you would have drawn up a 2-0 start for the Philadelphia Eagles, but it counts just the same. After their second one point win in two games, the only team to do so in NFL history, the Eagles sit atop the NFC East. The truth is, they have yet to play a good game. With 4 more turnovers against a good Baltimore Ravens team, you would think the Eagles would be licking...

Eagles suddenly very thin on OL...but subs did a nice job in final drive for win over Ravens...

It figures---the rare Sunday you only dress 7 offensive linemen for a game, and two of 'em get knocked out of the game. In fact, missing from Vick's final-drive huddle were Center Jason Kelce, left tackle King Dunlap and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin who had all left the game with injuries. They were replaced by a former practice squad member (Dallas Reynolds), a player...
