Found September 17, 2012 on Philly Sports Muse:
I had no idea that fellow writer Kwame Fisher-Jones was such a rabid Eagles fan until I joined him to talk about the Birds Sunday morning on his show, BackPageSports, on WGAM-FM ESPN radio. We spoke about our hopes about the Eagles this season as well as what we think Mike Vick can and cannot be as a quarterback. Pair that with a fascinating comparison of Donovan McNabb with John Elway (pre-Denver) and it makes for a fun and interesting discussion. Michael Vick scored on a 1-yard TD run with 1:55 left, helping the Philadelphia Eagles overcome a slew of turnovers to beat the Baltimore Ravens 24-23 on Sunday. Rookie kicker Justin Tucker made field goals of 56, 51 and 48 yards for the Ravens, but Joe Flacco couldn't get Baltimore (1-1) in his range in the final minute. Strong defense and Michael Vick keys to Eagles 24-23 win

This week the Eagles continued to be plagued by costly penalties and untimely turnovers, keeping the Ravens in the game until the end. The Eagles had a great balance of run and pass in the first half forcing the Ravens to respect the run and opening up the field for a huge dose of Brent Celek. Celek who was the forgotten man in the Ravens defensive scheme torched the Ravens for...

Michael Vick Should Sit on the Fantasy Bench in Week 2

Four interceptions. Cleveland Browns. Michael Vick. Wow! That was my thought pattern upon seeing how poorly the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback...

Thoughts on Eagles After First Two Games

After an interesting preseason, the Eagles first two games looked like a cake walk and then a tough match-up with a team that many believe will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. The cake walk didn’t exactly go as planned but the tough game ended up as advertised. In two short weeks, we’ve learned a lot about this team. To begin with, we’ve seen that Michael Vick is still...

The Eagles, who trailed most...

Michael Vick, Eli Manning Both Strong in Comeback Victories

Justin Henry breaks down the NFC East in Week 2, as the Eagles forge another comeback, Eli Manning shines, and the Cowboys and Redskins fall to earth.

2-0? Yes, 2-0. On to Arizona.

We are witnessing the first 2-0 start since 2004, two outstanding defensive displays, and the ablility to win games late. Except for turnovers and penalties, our Philadelphia Eagles gave us reasons for optimism against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. We saw big time use of the tight end Brent Celek, a balanced run and passing attack, sharp passing by Michael Vick, and solid...
