Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles put a damper on Robert Griffin’s return to FedEx Field on Monday Night. Although a late fourth quarter surge from the Skins had Philly fans on their toes, the Eagles fast-paced offense ultimately earned them the victory
Up and down start for Eagles
This first play of the game was a six yard completion from Michael Vick to Riley Cooper, which is ironic. It’s only right for the first play of the game to be a six yard completion from Vick to the one and only Riley Cooper, who’s offseason antics involving a racial slur that was caught on type made headlines throughout training camp. Eighteen seconds later, Vick would find his tight end, Brent Celek, for a nice gain.
This efficient and decisive attack led by Vick continued from start to finish. The offense looked to be in sync and completely on board with Kelly’s game plan.
There was a bit of a mental lapse at the end of the first drive, however, when the Eagles were in the red zone. Vick had a pass...

Robert Griffin hasn’t seen game action in about nine months, and it was quite evident last night. The Washington Redskins had three first quarter turnovers last night in their 33-27 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Yeah the Eagles offense looked good, but the Redskins look awful. If you turn over the ball three times in the first quarter you leave the door open for the opposing...

While Michael Vick had a very good game last night, he was still very reckless while running with the football.
Eagles head coach Chip Kelly told the media today that it’s too late to try and change how Vick plays.
Those headfirst Mike Vick slides? Chip Kelly knows what battles are worth it, says, "I don't think at 33 we're going to get him to change."
Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles are going to run a few teams out of the building this season. Vick may not be the most accurate passer in the game, but still might have the strongest arm in the league after this bullet on a rope touchdown pass to DeSean Jackson.

The Chip Kelly Era appeared to be off to a good start on the first drive of the Monday night game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins, but a scene that was all too familiar for Eagles fans happened.
I haven't checked Twitter yet, but I am sure that there are some calling for Michael Vick's head already; some folks are...
The Eagles offense looked pretty effective (and fast) on their first drive of the game, but things went south when a lateral pass from Mike Vick was swatted down and turned into 6 points for the Redskin’s DeAngelo Hall. Was it the right call?
As exciting as Chip Kelly’s offense in Philadelphia may be, it may already be on its way out. The reason? Michael Vick, the player the offense absolutely cannot function without, is taking way too many hits already, and it seems unlikely he’ll last an entire season.
“We saw Vick limping around. Vick's not gonna last,” former general manager Charley Casserly said Tuesday...

After running 30 plays in his first 15 minutes of Chip Kelly football, even Michael Vick was ready for a break.
''I've never been a part of anything like it,'' the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback said. ''When the first quarter was over, I thought we was about to go into halftime. It was unreal. The only thing I could tell myself was, `It's going to...
Well that was fun, wasn’t it? The Eagles opened the game by driving the ball all the way down the field in dominant fashion before a deflected lateral ended up being returned for a Redskins touchdown. Despite the ultimate buzzkill, the Birds shook it off and again showed their dominance on the offensive side of the ball but had to settle for three.
After the ensuing kickoff,...
