BY NICK ST. DENISReggie Bush is the Miami Dolphins' most explosive offensive player, but his workload hasn't exploded as of late. His touches, in fact, have gone down at a steady pace over the last four weeks. He had 21 touches (19 rush, 2 receiving) four games ago against the Cincinnati Bengals, 17 (12 rush, 5 rec.) three games ago against the St. Louis Rams, 15 (14 rush, 1 rec.) two weeks ago against the New York Jets and 12 (10 rush, 2 rec.) last week against the Indianapolis Colts.According to Pro Football Focus, Bush was on the field for 20 and 29 snaps over the past two weeks, respectively. Meanwhile, tailback Daniel Thomas was in on 43 and 36 snaps in the same games.Dolphins coach Joe Philbin says not to look into it, as Bush's reduced work has nothing to do with anything physically. (photo: June Rivera, Flickr)"Some of it is dictated by down and distance, the type of game we’re in, the score, all those things," Philbin said Wednesday, according to the te...

Last week: 12 (-2) Record: 4-4 In spite of a close road loss in a previously underrated Colts team, the Dolphins are still legitimate playoff contenders and if history is any indication, they’re more likely to make it than some other borderline playoff teams in the AFC right now, other than San Diego. Week 10 Rush Defense: Raiders of the Lost RBs

As someone who lives in Tennessee, I am forced into watching a lot of Titans games.  On the plus side, I get to see a lot of touchdowns, but they typically aren’t the kind everyone else in Nashville keeps hoping for.  While I wouldn’t say The Titans are the worst team in football, they definitely have one of the worst defenses and that means you should be starting Reggie Bush...

One word sums up NCAA’s ruling: absurd

There have some terrible acts committed under the watch of the NCAA over the years, acts that make you question the integrity of college athletics. Reggie Bush’s name comes to mind. So does Jim Tressel’s and recent allegations of academic fraud at North Carolina. The NCAA has seen these acts, and it has likely been disgusted by them like we all have. It wanted to make sure such...
