MIAMI (AP) -- Linebacker Philip Wheeler has signed a 26 million, five-year contract with the Miami Dolphins. The deal includes a 7 million signing bonus and 13 million guaranteed. Wheeler spent his first four NFL seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and played last year for the Oakland Raiders, where he had career highs of 109 tackles and three sacks. Wheeler and Dannell Ellerbe will give the Dolphins a new tandem at linebacker, making veterans Karlos Dansby and Kevin Burnett expendable. Ellerbe, who helped Baltimore win the Super Bowl, signed a 35 million, five-year deal Monday. The Dolphins are still estimated to have more than 20 million in salary cap space. They're in the market for help at cornerback, tackle, tight end, running back and receiver.

Brian Hartline thinks he’s just the beginning for the Dolphins: ‘We need a good offseason, everyone knows that’

It’s not every year an NFL team has $46 million to spend, and if they blow it, the chance may never come again. Miami took care of a key piece of business in locking up receiver Brian Hartline, setting up the core for a top level receiver to come in and round out the group. However, Hartline thinks 2013 is the year for the Dolphins to take advantage of their considerable resources...

Report: Detroit Lions sign Reggie Bush to a 4-year deal

The Detroit Lions, despite playing with a woefully pathetic defense, have added yet another weapon for Matthew Stafford. Say what you will about Bush’s career to this point, but his addition fills a huge void in the Lions already potent offense. The Lions placed...

Reggie Bush, Glover Quin and Jason Jones visit Lions

The Lions haven’t made a big splash in Free Agency… yet. Some rather big moves could be on the horizon however as the Lions meet with RB Reggie Bush today, as well as S Glover Quin and DE Jason Jones. All three moves could fill holes in the Lions roster that desperately need to be filled. [...]

Reggie Bush Gets Introduced As A Lion

Don’t sleep on me Juan… This signing was one of the worst kept secrets in free agency.  The Lions needed to find a replacement for Jahvid Best and Reggie’s skill set fits the bill.  They can line him up all over the formation and may need too.  I think he will be a nice RB2 in PPR leagues in 2013 as the Lions have shown they love to throw to their RBs.  Hell, even Joique...

The Detroit Lions need more than bringing Reggie Bush in to get back to winning, the teams defense is what’s killing them

Well, today we have seen it all n Detroit. The Lions have seen the arrival of Reggie Bush in a limo to their headquarters. Hopefully Bush had tinted windows that blocked his view of the elements.
