Dallas Cowboys And The NFL:
IRVING - After Olindo Mare missed 43- and 34-yard field goal attempts on a clear day Sunday in Seattle, Seawhawks coach Jim Mora made it clear he's not going to tolerate such failure.
"No excuses for those,'' SI.com's Peter King quoted Mora as saying. "Not acceptable. Not acceptable. Absolutely not acceptable."
Have you ever heard Wade Phillips say anything like that? Like I've said before, Phillips' loyalty to his players is admirable, but there comes a time when you have to call them out in public. To not do so, does them and the team no good.
Speaking of King, he has the Cowboys winning 33-24 tonight. I'm calling it Cowboys 33, Panthers 27.
