With the introduction of the new Nike NFL uniforms less than 24 hours away, many NFL fans are patiently waiting for the unveiling. Panthers fans may get a sneak peek of what their squads helmets will look like, as a photo has been leaked out and is spreading across the interwebs at a rapid pace.

The Panthers announced a modernized logo change shortly after the season ended, and this helmet goes right along with the new logo. It may not be real and someone may have just made it them selves, but either way, it looks pretty slick.

The NFL announced today that they’ll unveil the Nike uniforms at 11 am Eastern time, and Nike has been quoted as saying they “Were gonna have some fun with them, but respect the traditions”. It will be interesting to see what they whipped up!

Panthers targeting receiver in 1st round?

Most mock drafts have the Carolina Panthers matched up with a defensive lineman in the 1st round, but their recent pre-draft visits may indicate another strategy. Visits don’t necessarily translate to genuine interest in a player but when teams take a closer look at multiple players at the same position, that’s usually a good indication of where their interests lie. The Panthers...

Carolina Panthers Make Backfield Even More Confusing With Signing of Mike Tolbert?

The Carolina Panthers appear to be a team headed in the right direction after watching rookie quarterback Cam newton shatter records under center last season. While they still have some holes to fill in the upcoming 2012 NFL Draft, the Panthers added four more wins in 2011 than they had the previous season, and the team still has a decent amount of talent at some of...

Carolina Panthers: Ron Rivera Adds and Keeps Ex-Charger, Re-Sign Applewhite

There is no secret that familiarity plays a major role in the NFL, and in life. Friday, the Carolina Panthers announced that they have re-signed defensive end Antwan Applewhite. Terms were not disclosed. The San Diego Chargers signed Applewhite as an undrafted rookie free agent out of San Diego State in 2007, when then-defensive coordinator Ron Rivera, now Panthers’ head coach...

Panthers receive compensatory draft pick

The Panthers have been awarded one compensatory draft choice in the 2012 NFL Draft, the NFL announced last Monday. Carolina received a selection in the sixth round (207th overall), giving them a total of seven picks in this month’s draft. The extra draft choice will supplement the Panthers’ other six selections in the seven-round draft April 26-28. In addition to the compensatory...

Raiders Trade Bruce Campbell To Panthers For Mike Goodsen, Sign Phillip Wheeler

The slow but steady efforts by the cap-strapped Oakland Raiders to improve their roster have been displayed during the entire 2012 NFL Free Agency.  On Friday, the team signed LB Phillip Wheeler and traded for RB Mike Goodsen via the Carolina Panthers in exchange for OT Bruce Campbell. A workout warrior taken in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft, Bruce Campbell appeared...

Carolina Panthers Give Mike Goodson To Oakland Raiders, And Take Bruce Campbell For Themselves

Over the weekend, the Carolina Panthers traded for offensive lineman Bruce Campbell, from the Oakland Raiders. In exchange, the Panthers gave the Raiders RB Mike Goodson. Goodson played extensively in 2010 when the Panthers had injuries to starting running backs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, but last season, he played in only four games and did not carry the ball once...
