The Minnesota Vikings have never really been a progressive team, at least not since they left the best home field advantage* in all of football behind for the comfort of being an indoor team back in 1982. Well, they are moving out of the Metrodome for a flashy new indoor stadium, but before they do they have decided the time has come to update their Norseman logo. And when I say update, I mean going from version 1.0 to 1.01. Check out the drastic differences: Very exciting stuff, right? You have to wonder if Zygy Wilf hired one of his grand kids to use photoshop to update it. I only say that because it costs thousands of dollars to have graphic designers. Obviously, $5-$10 grand is pocket change to an NFL owner, but seriously, look at that thing. LOOK AT IT! The horns are not as long, and the braided hair has been shorten a bit as well. He appears to have a more defined face and mustache, due to darker lines. And finally, a more yellowish gold to his hat. That’s it.
