The NY Daily News posted photos of the Nazi, Confederate and Washington Redskins flags next to one another along with the byline, “Archaic Symbols of Pride and Heritage.”

  • Whoever thinks the Redskins logo should be compared to the Nazi flag needs their freaking head examined. There are far more important things going on in society to worry about. If the Redskins change their name they should be ashamed of themselves for caving to the minority of people and soapbox politicians who whine about this. I'm not a Redskins fan, but to hellll with anyone who believes they should change their name. The ones complaining for the most part do not even have a Native American heritage. These whining sniveling complainers need to just shut their pieholes and go find something else to complain about...like the clown in the White House. Polls taken with Native Americans have clearly shown that well over 90% could care less about the name and actually feel it is a compliment to their proud heritage. Should we just erase all of these names and allow the history of Native Americans to fade into obscurity forever? If there is any team that needs to change something...it's the ridiculous and insulting logo that the Cleveland Indians continue to use. Let's face it, Native Americans have NEVER looked like that. Living in Arizona where I know many Native Americans, they all agree that the name Washington Redskins was never intended to be a slight or an insult to these proud people. I would think our government leaders could find more important things to focus their attention on...like putting American back to work...YES, also Native Americans. Enough with all this nonsense already.
  • YOU ARE F---ING STUPID, AND A PERPETUATOR OF WHITE SUPREMACY
  • If a name or a picture on a helmet upsets you, then your problems are far more serious than you think. Worrying about the name Washington Redskins is as lame as it gets. Get a life.
