NFL training camps have started throughout the league and most eyes are fixated on Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck and RG3 and how they’re going to do with their new teams. In addition to these big three, there are also a bunch of other players who have the potential to make huge impacts on their new teams. Some are rookies like Luck and RG3 and others are veterans like Manning and Randy Moss. Since joining the San Francisco 49ers earlier this offseason, word out of niners camp is that Moss has been a model citizen. If coach Jim Harbaugh can keep Moss committed to his team, the 49ers will have one of the few things they lacked last year, depth at the wide receiving core. Sports Illustrated has put together a photo listing of some of these and other players who could have a huge impact on their teams this year. Here are a couple of the top players to watch...

Talking to Andrew Luck: Day 1

In his first official training camp practice, Colts' rookie quarterback Andrew Luck was once again very popular among the local and national media, fielding several questions Sunday afternoon. Colts Authority's own Nate Dunlevy's newly awarded credentials have given us access to the entire session, which we share with you here.  Overall, Luck comes across as a rookie...

Robert Griffin III, The Athletic Quarterback, And The Future Of The NFL

Has there been anyone as polarizing as Robert Griffin III this offseason? The man won the Heisman Trophy. He’s been on every endorsement commercial offered to players who can play the game at a high level. The man was even spotted at the Women’s Final Four this year rooting for his alma mater. A lot [...]The post Robert Griffin III, The Athletic Quarterback, And The Future Of...

First Look At Randy Moss At 49ers Camp

Hey Juan, can I borrow some Dickies to go with my socks… Don’t call it comeback…Moss is back.  Randy is donning the red and gold for the first time today and according to Ian Raporto “Is still destroying CBs.  No, not a game yet. But the dude can run. Like old times (kinda).”  I have warmed up to the idea of taking Moss this season…motivated and wanting to win may...

Broncos likely limiting Peyton Manning’s deep throws

Getty Images According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson via, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has been limited to only a handful of deep throws during practice. “Manning has looked better than most people believed he would so far,” Anderson reported on Sportscenter. ”But here is a little bit of context: Yes, he’s looked good at the line of scrimmage...

NFL Battle of Rookies: RG3 vs. Andrew Luck

One of the big questions and comparisons in the NFL is who is better? RGIII or Andrew Luck? Lets start off with Robert Griffin III. Robert Griffin III aka, RGIII, is a very good quarterback and we all saw his incredible season with Baylor last season, which led to him winning the Heisman award. Griffin put up some incredible numbers, had some very exciting and unbelievable games...

Luck starts light as Colts camp opens

Andrew Luck didn't get much of a chance to show his strong right arm at Sunday morning's first training camp workout. Instead, the No. 1 draft pick is impressing new teammates with his command. Receiver Austin Collie says Luck knows the Colts' new offense better than the veterans, and another receiver, Donnie Avery, likes Luck's take-charge approach in the huddle...

Not A Very Pittsburghish Surrender

A Steelers fan attended Colts camp in a James Harrison jersey, possibly because he felt like being a dickhead but more likely because Steelers fans are always wearing jerseys, regardless of occasion or setting. As you might expect, this Yinzer interloper drew stares and angry muttering from others in attendance. His presence was so grating that new Colts head coach Chuck Pagano...

Victor Cruz Is All Smiles

I’ll be happier when Hakeem is back in the lineup Juan… Victor Cruz is coming off of a breakout season in 2011 and is doing the right thing by not holding out for a new deal. The G-Men will reward him if he can get it done again. I will like him a lot better if Hakeem the Dream Nicks is back and taking coverage, but PPR leagues better have Cruz in their sights. Darth Tuck First...
