Redskins-quarterback

Now that the NFL season has ended, former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Donovan McNabb apparently had nothing better to do on a Wednesday evening that join an Ultimate Basketball rec league hoops game in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

In typical McNabb fashion, the bulky “forward” dominated, scoring 14 points and grabbing 1o boards. He also hit a few threes in the process, but shot poorly from the line, going 2-7.

Why is Donovan McNabb playing a rec league basketball game in a Minnesota suburb with a bunch of random white dudes on a Wednesday night in the dead of winter?

Well, why not, I guess.

With no teams knocking down his door to be their quarterback in 2012, I guess he doesn’t have much better to do and has to stay in shape somehow.

You never know, he might show up at my rec league games next, though I highly doubt it.

H/T to Deadspin and Ultimate Hoops for the pics.
