After today’s win over the Eagles, Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon admitted that he played the best he could even though his foot isn’t 100 percent healthy.
“The foot felt all right,” Garcon said, per The Washington Post. “It wasn’t 100 percent but it was good enough to play, good enough to go out there and help out as much as I can.”
“I wasn’t full speed,” Garcon said. “But they didn’t change the play call because of me or whatnot. I was coming in and out of the game, and that’s not real fun. I always like to be in there the whole time. I feel like I can run. But you see on tape from the past and then from after, post-injury and before the injury, it’s clearly different. But I’ll try to give it everything I’ve got.”
Garcon said that he didn’t suffer any setbacks and he’ll be ready for Thursday’s game against the Cowboys.
“I’ll be out there on Thursday,” he said. “I’ll be out there. No setbacks today. It was a good all-around game.”
