Redskins wideout Pierre Garcon returned to practice Thursday but is still experiencing pain in his foot. The former Indianapolis Colt who signed with Washington in the off-season stated: “It’s gotten a little bit better,” Garcon said. “But when you go back to running on it, you can feel pain.” The injury is serious enough that season ending surgery is still a consideration. “At some time, you’ve got to be realistic and you’ve just got to have it and hopefully it’s a successful surgery,” according to Mark Maske of the Washington Post. Garcon has missed four games in a row, but initially injured the ankle in the first game of the year. Garcon caught four passes for 109 yards and a touchdown in the Redskins’ Week One win over the Saints. He has 8 receptions for 153 yards and 1 touchdown in 2012.
