New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is ready to face Washington rookie phenom Robert Griffin III on Sunday. He even offfered some words of caution. "Don't bring it to my side," Pierre-Paul told the New York Daily News. "Go the other way." Pierre-Paul expects the Redskins' fleet quarterback to try to run at a Giants defense that he believes is faster than any RGIII has seen. Griffin III has rushed for 379 yards and six touchdowns in six games. "Trust me, we chase quarterbacks all the time," Pierre-Paul said. "We turn and run to the ball, no matter what. He may get past us and zoom right past us, but trust me we're right behind him. "You've got to respect that, too. It's not all about the speed. We've got guys, all 11 guys that can run to the ball very quick. You'd be surprised. Very surprised." Pierre-Paul's teammate, Justin Tuck, is impressed with Griffin III. "He's a game-c...

Jason Pierre-Paul sends a warning to Robert Griffin III

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul must feel pretty good about himself after he broke out of his funk and terrorized the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The Redskins rookie quarterback understands that he has to assume the role of team leader and doesn't appear to be backing down from the responsibility.

Jared Allen not ready to crown Robert Griffin III

After last week’s loss to the Redskins, Vikings defensive end Jared Allen said he isn’t ready to say quarterback Robert Griffin III is a great player.“I’m not going to crown him anything yet,” said Allen, per Comcast Sports, via Black Sports Online. RG3 makes Redskins ground game among NFL's best

Robert Griffin III's look back at his 76-yard touchdown run was surprisingly analytical. ''I didn't realize how much I slowed down at the end, when was looking back at the guy,'' the Washington Redskins rookie quarterback said Wednesday. ''I was enjoying the moment. I usually don't do stuff like that. But I talked to a bunch of the players and...

Osi Umenyiora No Longer Referring to Robert Griffin III as 'Bob,' Now Calling Rookie Phenom 'Sir Robert'

Robert Griffin III has apparently earned the respect of Osi Umenyiora. The Giants defensive end didn't buy into the hype of the Redskins rookie quarterback prior to the season, and thus said he'd only refer to the Heisman Trophy winner as "Bob." However, as the two NFC East teams get ready to battle on Sunday, Umenyiora is giving Griffin some...

Defense rules this week’s Rookie Report, as do second-day draft picks. Just one offensive player found his way onto the list this week, but that’s only because I can’t write about Robert Griffin III every time. Only two of the following eight players were taken outside of the 2nd or 3rd round and Chris Tripodi will let you know which first-year players are starting to hit their...
