The Miami Dolphins will be doing exactly what a lot of Dolphins fans will be doing on Sunday…..watching other teams play football.  The Dolphins are still doing their soul searching, following their 19-14 loss to the Bills on Thursday night. The Dolphins preparations for the Seahawks will begin tomorrow and we’ll have a lot on that upcoming matchup later this week. For today, we’re going to try to get back on the right track with our Pitiful Picks.  Last week, they were….pitiful.  We went 1-3 last Sunday, but were right to pick the Bills against the Dolphins on Thursday.  Our season record now stands at 21-17.   Time to get back on track people! Green Bay Packers -3 over Detroit Lions The Packers are coming off of a bye week and head to Detroit to take on their division rivals, the Detroit Lions.  The Packers have Aaron Rogers and they’ve been playing better of late.  Calvin Johnson still isn’t 100%, which hurts the Lions.  I think this game is where the Packers start their playoff push and win this game by a touchdown.  Packers 31 Lions 24 New Orleans Saints -5 over Oakland Raiders In my opinion, this line says a lot about this game.  The Saints are under .500 and yet they are a 5 point favorite ON THE ROAD.  The Saints have been playing like the Saints in recent weeks and I expect that to continue.  The Saints still need to sure up their passing defense, but if this game gets to be a shootout, I’ll take Drew Brees and Marques Colston over Carson Palmer.  This game could be a high scoring one, so expect some fireworks.  Saints 33 Raiders 27  (cont’d on page 2, click below) Pages: 1 2
