The Miami Dolphins will be doing exactly what a lot of Dolphins fans will be doing on Sunday…..watching other teams play football.  The Dolphins are still doing their soul searching, following their 19-14 loss to the Bills on Thursday night. The Dolphins preparations for the Seahawks will begin tomorrow and we’ll have a lot on that upcoming matchup later this week. For today, we’re going to try to get back on the right track with our Pitiful Picks.  Last week, they were….pitiful.  We went 1-3 last Sunday, but were right to pick the Bills against the Dolphins on Thursday.  Our season record now stands at 21-17.   Time to get back on track people! Green Bay Packers -3 over Detroit Lions The Packers are coming off of a bye week and head to Detroit to take on their division rivals, the Detroit Lions.  The Packers have Aaron Rogers and they’ve been playing better of late.  Calvin Johnson still isn’t 100%, which hurts the Lions.  I think this game is where the Packers start their playoff push and win this game by a touchdown.  Packers 31 Lions 24 New Orleans Saints -5 over Oakland Raiders In my opinion, this line says a lot about this game.  The Saints are under .500 and yet they are a 5 point favorite ON THE ROAD.  The Saints have been playing like the Saints in recent weeks and I expect that to continue.  The Saints still need to sure up their passing defense, but if this game gets to be a shootout, I’ll take Drew Brees and Marques Colston over Carson Palmer.  This game could be a high scoring one, so expect some fireworks.  Saints 33 Raiders 27  (cont’d on page 2, click below) Pages: 1 2

Reggie Bush's days might be numbered in Miami

Not too long ago the Miami Dolphins were faced with the prospects of signing their running back and former 2005 first round pick, Ronnie Brown.  Forced to fill a void that was inevitable with the lack of productivity in Brown’s final season, the Dolphins got overly aggressive at the start of the offseason after the lockout with a trade for Reggie Bush.  A name...

Bold Prediction: The Dolphins Will Trade Reggie Bush By Season End

As a starting running back in the National Football League, Miami Dolphins' running back Reggie Bush has had a horrible 2012 campaign. Bush has only crossed the 100 yard mark in rushing once this season, and that was against the lowly Raiders' defense. Bush has only managed 82 rushing yards in the last three games, while also coughing up a fumble which in turn resulted in...

Dolphins Division: Dolphins slide continues, Pats off and running

The Miami Dolphins were once 4-3, but that was a long time ago my friends.  The Dolphins currently sit at 4-6 and are now 3 games behind the Patriots in the AFC East.  The rest of the division isn’t doing much better, since the Bills and Jets are tied with the Dolphins for 2nd (and last) place.  Since all 4 teams were tied at 3-3, the Pats have gone 4-0, with the rest of the...

5 Keys to Resurrecting the Miami Dolphin Offense

Talk in Miami is centered around the regression of Ryan Tannehill and the stagnation of the Dolphin offense. The Miami Dolphin wide receivers cannot get off press coverage. Miami does not have... Do the Dolphins possess a clutch gene?

It seems like ages ago, but the Miami Dolphins haven't won comeback game in the 4th quarter this season.  Last night, Ryan Tannehill held the spotlight with two chances, more than most quarterbacks get,  to conduct a flawless 2 minute drill and send the Dolphins back to .500 and steal a game up in cold Buffalo.  A game that it appeared seemed winnable from...

What’s wrong with the Miami Dolphins?

The Miami Dolphins are currently riding a 3 game losing streak that has made their hopes of the playoffs as likely as me finally getting that date with Mila Kunis.  It’s not impossible, but it’s not going to happy for our Dolphins.  The Dolphins season got off to a rocky 1-3 start and then the team rebounded to win 3 straight games to improve to 4-3.  Unfortunately, they couldn’t...

Sputtering offense plagues Dolphins

Nothing comes easily these days for the Miami Dolphins. The lone touchdown scored by their offense in the past 21/2 games was awarded only after a replay review. The unit led by rookie Ryan Tannehill has stalled during a three-game losing streak, and so has the franchise's turnaround under first-year coach Joe Philbin. "Obviously we need to make some improvements quickly...

Dolphins want to get ground game going

The Miami Dolphins' offense has stalled, and the long list of reasons includes too many turnovers, not enough big plays and too many rookie moments by quarterback Ryan Tannehill. So what bugs offensive coordinator Mike Sherman the most? None of the above. ''Aw, just the run game,'' Sherman said Monday. ''Everything jells around the run game. If you can...

Dolphins offense struggles vs. Buffalo

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Nothing comes easily these days for the Miami Dolphins. The lone touchdown scored by their offense in the past 2 games was awarded only after a replay review. The unit led by rookie Ryan Tannehill has stalled during a three-game losing streak, and so has the franchise's turnaround under first-year coach Joe Philbin. A 19-14 loss Thursday at Buffalo dropped...

Offense Continue to Sputter

Nothing comes easily these days for the Miami Dolphins. The lone touchdown scored by their offense in the past 2½ games was awarded only after a replay review. The unit led by rookie Ryan Tannehill has stalled during a three-game losing streak, and so has the franchise's turnaround under first-year coach Joe Philbin.

Week 11 – Picks Against the Spread (2012)

Had to do some quick picks this week. Here we go. BUFFALO BILLS (-2) over Miami Dolphins — Have to go Bills at home. Miami didn’t look too good against the Colts. Reggie Bush was benched and Tannehill struggled. ATLANTA FALCONS (-10) over Arizona Cardinals — Too many points for me to bite on it, but the Cardinals won’t have the offense so I’ll favor the dirty birds. Teasing...

Sunday Wrap Up

Bills def. Dolphins: This loss almost guarantees a losing season for the Dolphins, who have a daunting schedule ahead of them. Reggie Bush and the running game has dried up, which has left the inexperienced Ryan Tannehil completely vulnerable with no weapons to work with. A once playoff hopeful will probably end up with 5 or 6 wins on the season. The Bills, on the other hand...
