The Miami Dolphins finally return home after what seems like an eternity.  The Dolphins have played back to back road games and had their bye, so they haven’t played a home game in almost a month.  This week, the Dolphins welcome in the Tennessee Titans and hope to get back over the .500 mark.  This will be an abbreviated version of the Dolphins Pitiful Picks, as I am headed over to the stadium shortly.  Last week we went 2-2 to bring our season record up to 19-14. New York Giants -4 over Cincinnati Bengals The Giants played like crap last week and lost a game they should have won against the Steelers.  This week, they’ll get their offense back on track and beat up on the Bengals.  Eli Manning hasn’t been playing well of late. He’s too good of a quarterback to continue to struggle.  Giants 27 Bengals 17 Denver Broncos -4 over Carolina Panthers Peyton Manning is playing like his old self again and Cam Newton and the Panthers are as mistake prone a team as any in the NFL.  I’d like this line better if it were at 3 points, but even still, I think the Broncos are at least a TD better than the Panthers today.  Broncos 24 Panthers 17 New York Jets +6 over Seattle Seahawks Quite frankly, I hate picking the Jets, but I just think this line is too big.  I think the Seahawks will win this game, but it’ll be close.  Rex Ryan lost his first game against a rookie quarterback when Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins beat the tar out of them a couple of weeks ago.  Rex is again facing a rookie QB and should do some things to confuse Wilson.  In the end, the flight across country and the 12th man in Seattle gives the Seahawks just enough to win.  Seahawks 20 Jets 17 Miami Dolphins -6 over Tennessee Titans The Miami Dolphins have been on a roller coaster this season. Losing 3 of their first 4 games then winning 3 straight.  Then they lost to the Colts last weekend and everyone panicked.  I think this week, the Dolphins put a hurting on the Titans.  The Dolphins are home again, Tannehill and Bush are both a week healthier, and the Dolphins defense has something to prove.  The Dolphins secondary was embarrassed last week by Andrew Luck. These men are prideful and do want to show everyone that they can cover people.  I also look for the Dolphins running game to be on display today, as the Titans struggle against the run.  I think the Dolphins are a double digit winner today.  Dolphins 31 Titans 17 For the latest Miami Dolphins news from PhinNation.com, please bookmark us in your web browser!

Manning, Broncos cruise by Panthers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Peyton Manning made sure John Fox's return to Carolina was a successful one, throwing for 301 yards and a touchdown to lead the Denver Broncos to a 36-14 win over the Panthers on Sunday. Manning threw his 420th touchdown pass to move into a tie for second place on the NFL's all-time list with Dan Marino. He trails only Brett Favre (508). Manning had...

Manning, defense lead Broncos over Panthers 36-14

Peyton Manning made sure John Fox's return to Carolina was a successful one, throwing for 301 yards and a touchdown to lead the Denver Broncos to a 36-14 win over the Panthers on Sunday. Manning threw his 420th touchdown pass to move into a tie for second place on the NFL's all-time list with Dan Marino. He trails only Brett Favre (508). Manning had plenty of help from...

Peyton Manning keeps the Broncos on track in blowout win

I thought the Broncos would be one of the league's toughest teams this season, but early on, they looked slightly out of sync, and it led to some early season losses. With their win today, however, the Broncos are on track for a comfortable playoff birth, and no team looks more dangerous right now. Peyton Manning quietly put together a 300+ yard game, throwing just one touchdown...

2 faces of November: Tony Romo vs Eli Manning

We’re seeing something this season very similar to what we have over the last five years in the quality of play from Tony Romo and Eli Manning during the month of November. For some odd reason, the performances over the last five years or so of these two elite quarterbacks have been closely compared but in November they seem to end up on opposite ends of the field. It turns out...

NFL Rumors: Could Peyton Manning Or Adrian Peterson Win NFL Comeback Player Of The Year And NFL MVP?

Both Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson are having spectacular NFL seasons in 2012, as both continue to defy the odds and the detractors by proving to modern day medical mysteries. After playing all 13 NFL seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Manning and his former team parted ways after the veteran signal caller missed all of 2011 with neck and back problem. After multiple surgeries...

Peyton and Colorado Both Celebrate 420

On Sunday, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning threw his 420th touchdown pass, moving him into second place behind only Dan Marino for the most all-time.  Earlier in the week on Election Day, Colorado citizens voted in a landmark bill that would allow for the full legalization and sale of marijuana. Coincidence? I think not...

How bad is Curtis Painter?!

Even the greatest quarterbacks can’t overcome bad teams, especially not in their rookie year. It’s something that I have always believed and will continue to believe until forever. Look at Peyton Manning, one of the most prolific passers of our time, and a number one overall draft pick. He came into a team that was legitimately terrible in 1998, and the Colts were capable of...

ESPN Fired An Intern: When Did Matthew Stafford Get Replaced By Peyton Manning?

That was a helluva efficient day from Peyton Manning, the quarterback of the Detroit Lions. No INTs? This guy is on a roll. Anyway, the Broncos are 6-3 and should go 6-1 to finish the season. Yet to come on the schedule: Chiefs (twice) and Browns. More NFL tidbits: How many weeks until Andy Reid is fired? No way he gets through the end of the season. The Bears are the biggest frauds...

NFL News: NFL Milestones that can be reached this week

The NFL 2012 regular season has already been filled with a wide array of records, and more can be set this weekend. Television viewership is setting all time records while the league is setting a variety of records each and every week with new stars entering the league. Colts Are Legitimate Playoff Contenders as NFL’s Cinderella Story

The Indianapolis Colts have been at the epicenter of NFL headlines all season long. First, everyone wanted to know how the team would fare in the Andrew Luck era after seeing the success that Peyton Manning brought. Then, first-year head coach Chuck Pagano was diagnosed with leukemia and after responding with a win against the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 7, the team became the NFL’s...

Panthers hire Accorsi to help in GM search

The Carolina Panthers have turned to longtime front-office executive Ernie Accorsi to assist in the team's pursuit of a new general manager. Accorsi, 71, will begin serving immediately as a consultant to help the Panthers find a replacement for Marty Hurney, The Charlotte Observer reported Friday. "I have a very high regard for Mr. Richardson and look forward to providing...
