Lombardi on Football:

I loved Lamar Woodley coming out of Michigan two years ago. He had the unique ability to rush and great burst and balance. I expect big things from him this year. He had two sacks in the playoff game last year and based on Kevin Greene's assessment he might be in store for even bigger and better things in 2008.
From the Pittsburgh Tribune Review
"Only two players in NFL history have more sacks than Kevin Greene, so he qualifies as an expert when it comes to rushing the quarterback. After working with the Steelers' outside linebackers during the first week of training camp, Greene said his former team might have something special in LaMarr Woodley. "He's going to be better than me," Greene said."
Coming out of college, Woodley was one of those players that had the ability to rush, but just diid not possess the right size and speed for any specific position. He did, however, have nice balance and could move his feet and hands at the same time with power and in an explosive manner. Regardless of a rusher's size, when he can move his hands and feet in symmetry while displaying both power and explosion, he is very likely to have a good NFL career.
