New York Giants
Kansas City Chiefs
Leave it to Mother Nature to take a game with an infinite amount of story lines and make another one. Looking at the game alone, it was already arguably the marquee match-up of the week. It pits the Super Bowl champions who have been excellent to this point against a Steelers team who has seemed to find their way over the past couple of weeks. It's also a match-up between two first round draft picks of one of the best quarterback classes of recent history, Ben Roethlisberger and Eli Manning. Both of which have two Super Bowl rings to their credit. Then throw in Hurricane Sandy, the natural disaster that has essentially shut down a large portion of New York and New Jersey. The hotel that the Steelers had booked for the game still has no power. For that reason, the Steelers have been granted permission by the league to fly out the morning of the game. Something that NFL players are hardly accustomed to.

These are not the Steelers you’re used to. But it’s still the same Ben Roethlisberger, which means they’re always going to have a chance. With a system, he’s still coming to grips with, a supposed lack of running game and lack of protection, and too many balls on the ground, the Steelers quarterback was undeterred, leading his team to a 24-17 win over the Bengals.Roethlisberger...
Steelers fans can't be happy with the officiating in Pittsburgh's game against the Giants.
Ben Roethlisberger was charged with a fumble when Osi Umenuiora hit Big Ben's arm he went to throw, and though it looked like he unintentionally let go of the ball, his arm was moving forward. The call should have been ruled either a tuck rule or simply a forward...
QUARTERBACKSBen RoethlisbergerGrade: A-Big Ben has quietly been having one of his best seasons behind a revolving door of an offensive line. It’s nothing new for the two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback, who has carried the Steelers' offense in years past. This is the kind of thing that earns quarterbacks like Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady a lot of praise, but for Roethlisberger...
If you enjoy football—which we assume most of you do—yesterday marked a pretty cool day as the Steelers traveled to New York to take on the Giants.
While the two team’s might not be your favorite, the quarterback matchup between Big Ben Roethlisberger and Eli Manning was something that should be celebrated. Why? Not because they put up a ton of yards or touchdowns—their stats...
The winners of three of the past four Super Bowls meet on Sunday at the Meadowlands, as the Pittsburgh Steelers visit the New York Giants. It’s a rare matchup between quarterbacks who have won multiple Super Bowls. In the past 20 seasons, the only such meetings have been between Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger, who have met twice since Roethlisberger won his second ring at the end...

For the first time this season, the Pittsburgh Steelers earned a victory with conviction in a game that wasn’t a cakewalk. This game played out how I would have thought it would had you asked me before the season started. A stout run defense took away the spark that made the Washington Redskins so successful. Ben Roethlisberger was...
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- In a game billed as the battle of two first-round quarterbacks from the Class of 2004, the Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger outlasted the Giants' Eli Manning by copying Manning's fourth-quarter comeback act to steer Pittsburgh to a 24-20 win over New York at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. The Steelers (5-3) won their third game in a row, while the Giants...
The inadvertent whistle in the Panthers-Redskins game turned undue attention to the officials in Week 9, and three more controversial situations occurred in which the judgment on the field also came into question.
The Game: Miami at Indianapolis
The Situation: The Dolphins had the ball, second-and-1, on their own 30 with 5:26 remaining in the game. Indianapolis led, 23-20.

The Giants (6-3) saw their four-game winning streak end, and Manning'...
On a night where many in New York were still suffering from the after effects of Hurricane Sandy, there were a lucky few that attended a hard fought battle between the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a sloppy game by both teams but Pittsburgh managed to pull out a big victory, 24-20.The first quarter was a dud as both teams punted on their first two possessions of...
This Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers face the New York Giants, which means that each quarterback in the game – Ben Roethlisberger and Eli Manning – will have won multiple Super Bowls.
This is not a common occurrence.
In fact, the list is shorter than many fans would anticipate:
Bart Starr–Green Bay Packers (2)
Roger Staubach–Dallas Cowboys (2)
Bob Griese–Miami Dolphins...
All it took was one quarter of football. Down 20-10 going into the fourth and final quarter the Pittsburgh Steelers scored fourteen unanswered points to beat the New York Giants 24-20 at Met Life Stadium. It was a game that the Giants seemed to be in control of heading into the fourth, then one play changed everything.
On third and five from just about midfield Steelers quarterback...
The Steelers overcame about as much adversity as possible in the first half of their 24-20 win over the New York Giants. There were three calls made in a short window that were all three very questionable at best. Those calls very well could have cost the Steelers the game and were the only reason the Giants remained in the game as long as they did. Overall the Steelers dominated...
The Pittsburgh Steelers went above .500 for the first time in the 2012 season with a victory over the Washington Redskins a week ago. They now stand at 4-3, just one game behind the Baltimore Ravens who lead the division at 5-2, and still hold their own destiny in the AFC North division. New York comes into the game with a 6-2 record and has won four straight games with a 3-1 record...
