Found November 25, 2012 on Steelers Depot:
In a game that featured the Pittsburgh Steelers turning the ball over 8 times it is hard to pinpoint which of them hurt the team the most in their 20-14 loss to Cleveland Browns on Sunday. All of that aside, it certainly doesn't help matters when you hear that one Steelers player admitted after the game that he ran a soft out pattern that helped contribute to one of the three interceptions thrown in the game by quarterback Charlie Batch. Who was that player? It was the newly signed wide receiver Plaxico Burress. Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports via Twitter that Burress admitted Read more [...]

First Baby Picture Of Ben Roethlisberger Jr. Released Saturday

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger posted a picture of his newborn son, Benjamin Roethlisberger Jr., on his website Saturday. The caption of the photo reads, "Ben's favorite photo so far ... and dad's new screen saver for his phone!" The first child of Roethlisberger and wife Ashley was born Wednesday night and weighed in at 7 pounds, 1 ounce...

With Charlie Batch at Helm, Steelers Should Still Win

While the Steelers offense certainly will miss Roethlisberger, the Steelers defense as well as a solid run game and a “good enough” passing game should propel them to victory. Oddsmakers currently have the Steelers to have about a 54% chance to win this game. At Sports Tradex, which is a free prediction marketplace that awards prizes to users who perform the best weekly, the...

Ben Roethlisberger Says He Honestly Doesn’t Know If He Will Be Back For Ravens Game

The Pittsburgh Steelers sorely need to get quarterback Ben Roethlisberger back as soon as possible and there is a possibility that it could happed this next week against the Baltimore Ravens. Roethlisberger, who has missed the last two games due to dislocated rib and right shoulder injury, hopes to play Sunday in Baltimore. "I'm going to try," Roethlisberger told...

Jaguars Sign WR Toney Clemons Off Of Steelers Practice Squad

The Pittsburgh Steelers have one less wide receiver on their practice squad right now as the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Toney Clemons to their 53 man roster today. Clemons was drafted by the Steelers as their first of four seventh-round picks (231st overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Colorado. The rookie registered just one catch for 14 yards during the preseason for the...

Doug Legursky To Start At Left Guard Against Browns

Some late breaking news today as Bob Labriola reports via Twitter that Doug Legursky will get the start at left guard over Willie Colon for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Cleveland Browns. Colon showed up on the injury report on Friday with a knee injury, but will be dressed just in case. Legursky started earlier this season at center against the Cincinnati Bengals when...

Steelers Versus Browns Game Rewind – Second Half Notes

The Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Cleveland Browns 20-14 Sunday and below are my second half notes from the game. Here are my first half notes in case you missed them. The Steelers start off the second half with a quick screen to the right to Mike Wallace, but Mike Adams is flagged for holding on the play. It was a stupid penalty to take as Charlie Batch had long gotten rid of...

Handicapper’s Analysis of Steelers-Browns Matchup

Cliff Notes: Game will be close, but Steelers likely to prevail due to making less mistakes.

Steelers doomed by eight turnovers

Chris Rainey's fumble with 2:25 left - Pittsburgh's seventh turnover - was recovered by Cleveland's Phil Taylor and the Browns handed their hated rivals a potentially devastating loss, 20-14 over the stumbling Steelers on Sunday. Charlie Batch, forced to start at quarterback for Pittsburgh because of injuries to Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich, was picked off three...

Steelers' Antonio Brown Out Against Browns

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without Antonio Brown in their matchup against the Cleveland Browns.  Brown has been dealing with an ankle injury for the past two games, but he was able to return to practice this week.  It seems that return to practice does not mean he's ready to play. According to Mike Florio of NBC Sports, Brown will be out, and Plaxico Burress could get...
