Busted Coverage Brought to you by Visa – How will you make your Super Bowl Epic? #MakeItEpic There’s nothing like the Super Bowl — and the French Quarter — to help mend fences. Busted Coverage was at the Playboy Super Bowl Party at Jax Brewery in New Orleans on Friday night, where we saw Playmates, celebrities, athletes and the end of the publicized ‘Bountygate’ spat between Jeremy Shockey and Warren Sapp. During the revelation of the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal last year, NFL Network analyst Sapp accused former Saints tight end Shockey of being the snitch who told the NFL about the pay-for-injure system. Shockey denied the claim and fired back at Sapp with a threat of legal action. Sapp apologized to Shockey, but the two former University of Miami stars hadn’t fully reconciled the issue until Friday night at the Playboy party. The two men shook hands, embraced and buried the grudge. “I don’t hold anything against anybody. I don’t hold grudges,” Shockey said he told Sapp when he shook his hand on Friday. “We are University of Miami family. I’m living in today, not the past. We are all part of the Miami fraternity. My football days are over; I have to move on.” And, how can anyone stay angry surrounded by Playboy models? Before encountering Sapp, Shockey staged a quick mock fight with UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones. The two men arrived at the party at the same time and seemed to be ready to throw down in the street, but it was all for the show of the crowd. Also in attendance at the Playboy Super Bowl Party on Friday night: reinstated Saints’ head coach Sean Payton, who was down for just about anything — as we first reported on Twitter @bustedcoverage. Sean Payton just walked up to bar at Playboy party and said: ” We need a kickass shot”twitpic.com/c07lqj — Busted Coverage (@bustedcoverage) February 2, 2013 The suspension hasn’t slowed his roll. Payton, who has filed for divorce, showed up with some serious arm candy.
