The Penalty Flag:
I make no secret of my pessimism about this San Diego Chargers team. It’s not personal, it’s business. I absolutely refuse to get positive about anything they do or say until they show me something positive. How did I know they would blow a 10 point lead in the fourth quarter?… Read more

Denver, CO. Although the Denver Broncos have lost more games than they have won through five weeks of the regular season, they have to feel ok about where they are at this point. 2-3, losing to three of the best teams in the NFL, and just one game behind the leader of the AFC West. Left tackle Jared Gaither didn't practice Thursday, so maybe having a long week will aid the Chargers. San Diego's game against the Denver Broncos isn't until Monday night, and coach Norv Turner said Wednesday that he was confident Gaither would play. Gaither strained his groin in the later stages of Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Saints. Considering his track...

Peyton Manning against Philip Rivers is not exactly what it used to be, but who really cares?
These two are still legit quarterbacks in the NFL and although their best days are behind them, it is not as if they are ancient and cannot throw.
Manning cleared all the rust away and now he looks as if he can finally...
The Chargers look to start 3-0 in the AFC West and continue their dominance over Peyton Manning as they host the Broncos Monday night. As preparation for this pivotal clash, we go over each phase of the game and break down what you can expect.
Philip Rivers still yaps as much now on the field as he did when he first drew Champ Bailey's ire five years ago. The difference now is that Bailey believes he's earned the right.
''Back then, he was talking when he shouldn't have. I think he hadn't earned his respect around the league at that point,'' Bailey said. ''But now it's a different...
