Cardinals release two defensive starters from 2025
GLENDALE – Ahead of 2026 free agency, the Arizona Cardinals released two defensive starters to create millions in cap space to sign free agents. The team announced on Thursday that linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither and defensive tackle Bilal Nichols has been released from the team, clearing more than $10 million in cap space.
