BEST OF MAXIM
Last week the Philadelphia Eagles displayed their new high powered offense to American football fans and other teams alike. Michael Vick finally has the complete offense he hasn’t had his entire pro football career. He has numerous great wideouts in DeSean Jackson, Riley Cooper and Jason Avant, an efficient running back in LeSean McCoy and Bryce Brown, and now has the protection...
Eagles running back LeSean McCoy went down with what seemed like a serious injury during last night’s loss to the Chiefs. He ended up walking to the locker room to undergo X-Rays.
Then McCoy came back on the field and finished the game and looked very impressive doing so.
McCoy told reporters afterward that he sprained his right ankle.
It will be interesting to see if McCoy is...
Mike Vick tweeted seven words Tuesday night, and it sure sounded like trouble.
Can't believe Clay about to snitch. Smh
-- Mike Vick (@MikeVick) September 18, 2013 Uh-oh. What was this drama about?
Was one of Vick's homeboys droppin' a dime on him over some illicit activities?
Was the Packers' Clay Matthews, who just got fined $15K for a hit on 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick...
Towards the end of the first half Philadelphia Eagles fans and fantasy owners got a scare put into the them when running back LeSean McCoy went down with what looked like a potential knee injury.
He did return to the game in the second half, but you still have to wonder if he's hurt and just trying to tough it out or if he is really okay.
Eagles running back LeSean McCoy headed to the locker room during tonight’s game against the Chiefs to undergo X-rays on his leg after suffering an injury that looked serous at the time.
McCoy was laying on the field writhing in pain, but ended up jogging off the field.
As soon as we have an update, we’ll post it here.

Eagles running back LeSean McCoy said he has a right ankle sprain, but wasn't limping after he returned to the action in the third quarter.Fantasy Spin:McCoy had fans and fantasy owners holding their breath with what looked to be a serious leg injury, but returned to the game and performed well totaling 158 yards (92 yards after the injury) and a score on 20 carries.
A bad night has gotten a whole lot worse for the Philadelphia Eagles. At the half they were just down by 10; an easy deficit to erase in a Chip Kelly offense (if it ever gets going). However, if LeSean McCoy's injury appears to be something serious Vick could be without one of his best weapons.
If you take a closer look at the hit/tackle it doesn...
Marcus Vick has been encouraged to stay off Twitter, if not to protect himself from making poor choices, then at least to protect his older brother, Michael Vick, from having to deal with extra silliness (or stupidity).
But seeing the Internet attack the elder Vick again during a Monday night loss was apparently too much for Marcus Vick. After going off the deep end last year in...
Michael Vick has been the guy a lot of young NFL players looked up to when they were growing up.
Vick left Virginia Tech when a lot of the young players in the NFL were just early teenagers, and I’m sure it’s been a dream for most of them to play with or against him.
One of those players was Chiefs star defensive back Eric Berry. The former Tennessee Vol’s safety grew up...
Marcus Vick is known for a couple of things, besides being the little brother to Michael Vick, and neither are flattering. One, he famously stomped on Elvis Dumervil way back when in college. Two, he says stupid things on Twitter,…Read more →
Eagles 30, Chargers 33, Sunday, September 15, 2013
After week one, we were all like: “Hey! Maybe the Eagles D isn’t too bad!”
Turns out, the Skins are just that bad this year.
Stud of the week: Michael Vick, clearly, who had a career day with 428 yards, two thrown TDs, one run TD, and no turnovers. DJax had a good day, too, as did Shady, with a career receiving day...
After the best and most exhilerating week one to date, week two of the 2013 season was sure to not be outdone on excitement. From upsets to last second wins, each game had a reason to tune in. Mike Wallace had the breakout performance he was hoping for while Mike Vick and the Eagles got stunned by Philip Rivers and his Chargers. Did Minnesota's Adrian Peterson do enough to...
Chip Kelly is learning the NFL rule book on the job.
The do-it-his-way coach didn't think he could use a timeout to allow a banged-up Michael Vick to stay in the game during an important moment in the Philadelphia Eagles' 33-30 loss to San Diego Chargers to Sunday.
Upon further review, Kelly learned he was wrong.
''That's on me. I didn't think we could...
Week Three Rankings
At wide receiver DeSean Jackson has seen himself rise all the way to WR1 territory. He looks almost unstoppable with Vick in Chip Kelly’s offense and despite racking up nine receptions for 193 yards he left over 130 yards on the field on passes that he barely missed corralling in. DeSean was always a special talent but is really breaking out in this new system...
Is it better to be lucky, or better to be good? Is it better to play it safe, or is it better to take risks and play for upside?
If you play fantasy football long enough you will find yourself in this rhetorical debate, and at some point, develop a case of decidophobia, that is, the fear of making decisions.
Specifically, it’s the fear of making the wrong decisions that drives...
