Reports have already surfaced today indicating that New York Jets offensive coordinator Tony Sparano will be fired. According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Jets are expected to go after Chargers head coach Norv Turner as their next offensive coordinator. Turner isn’t a very good head coach, but he’s been a proven offensive play call for years now. Need NFL Tickets...
MARK SANCHEZ CAN'T FIND END ZONE AS JETS LOCK UP WORST SEASON IN REX RYAN ERA. ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Those who subscribed to the logic that Sunday's regular season finale against the Buffalo Bills would be Mark Sanchez's final "try out" to the organization -- and potentially others -- that he can be a starter in the NFL were disappointed as the clock stuck...
Following Sunday’s 28-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills — and an embarrassing 6-10 season — NY Jets head coach Rex Ryan was asked why he never started Tim Tebow as quarterback despite Mark Sanchez’s poor performance on the field. His answer was telling: “I'm trying to win the game, and that's it,” Ryan said. “If I thought Tebow would have helped us win the game...
Jets owner Woody Johnson announced via the team's website that Mike Tannebaum will no longer be the general manager. Rex Ryan's job appears to be safe.
The New York Jets ended a disappointing season with a 28-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. While Rex Ryan is undoubtedly upset with the way his team performed this year, he has to be relieved that he no longer has to deal with arguably the ugliest quarterback situation in the NFL.
When the Jets acquired Tim Tebow, Ryan warned opponents that they had better be prepared to face...
With all the importance places on head injuries and concussions in sports over the past few years, all the safety measures in the world don’t help if players aren’t honest about their suffering.
Greg McElroy was sacked 11 times in the Jets’ loss to the Chargers on Sunday, and at some point during the game suffered a concussion — it’s not exactly clear when. McElroy reportedly...
The shake-up in New York is underway, but Jets owner Woody Johnson doesn’t appear ready to clean house entirely.
The Jets announced on Monday that Johnson has fired general manager Mike Tannenbaum, but head coach Rex Ryan will return for next season.
After a 6-10 season it was expected that Gang Green would re-shuffle, and how they plan to do that is a little clearer now. There...

Rex Ryan’s bravado may have finally got the best of him. The New York Jets head coach has always been extremely confident, in fact, cocky. According to those in the know, if team owner won’t make the changes Rex wants, he should fire Rex. See, Rex isn’t stupid, either. He didn’t say my way or [...]

While it remains to be seen what wholesale changes will be made in New York this offseason, the team now looks ahead towards the start of free agency and the 2013 NFL Draft. The Jets were one of 20...

Even with a recent report that Jets quarterback Tim Tebow could end up with the Jacksonville Jaguars next season, Arthur Arkush of ProFootballWeekly.com says it’s probably a stretch to believe that he’ll be a Jaguar in 2013.
After doing a little digging, we hear that categorizing his arrival in Jacksonville after the season as imminent is a major stretch.

Their disappointing seasons having finally come to a close, no one was ready to discuss what changes might be in store for the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills.
''Let's talk about today, and let's talk about tomorrow or next week at a later date,'' Bills coach Chan Gailey said after a 28-9 season-ending win over the Jets on Sunday.
Gailey's on the hot...
The Buffalo Bills (6-10) beat the New York Jets (6-10) 28-9, today at Ralph Wilson Stadium from Buffalo, NY.
The season has to come to an end for the New York Jets as they finish the year at 6-10 and they regress even far back than last year.
They had no shot of winning this game, when you realised as a Jets fan that this team current team doesn't have it all together on offense...
