---While appearing with Ross Tucker on SiriusXM NFL Radio’s Opening Drive, former Colts GM Bill Polian said today that Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski failed a physical with the Colts prior to the 2010 NFL Draft. While there were questions about Gronkowski's back prior to the draft, Polian might have better off taking a gamble on the Amherst native instead of Jerry Hughes, the TCU defensive end who Polian picked 31st overall that year. Hughes has 21 tackles and one sack in two seasons while Gronkowski, who was selected 11 picks later by New England in the second round is already considered one of the best in the NFL at his position. ---Rodney McKissic (www.twitter.com/rodneyjmckissic)
