Found January 06, 2012 on NBC Cowboys Blog:
They’re here. They’re clear. They don’t want any more Terence Newman. At least, according to one poll they don’t, “they” in this case being Cowboys fans. ESPN Dallas recently conducted a fan poll giving fans the options of “take ‘em or trash ‘em” with regard to players they want to keep and players they want to see gone in 2012--and the aging cornerback Newman (pictured here allowing a touchdown pass AND committing pass interference) didn’t exactly fare well. 97 percent of those who voted in the poll want Newman to be elsewhere by next season, tying the veteran Kansas State product (somewhat strangely) with practice squad running back Chauncey Washington--who was called up to the active roster late in the year when the running back shortage reared its ugly head--for least wanted.  The rest of the top five “trash ‘em” candidates consists of safety Frank Walker (94 percent), kicker David Buehler (93 percent), linebacker Keith Brooking (92 percent) and backup QB Jon Kitna (91 p

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had both a brilliant play and a dumb play on the same play in Sunday night’s loss to the Giants, and afterward he was kicking himself over it. With the Cowboys facing third-and-5 at the Giants’ 39-yard line, trailing 14-0 late in the second quarter, Romo dropped back to pass and…
