Found March 19, 2013 on State of the Texans:
Kubiak: “I think what we’re looking at in DeVier (Posey) is a middle of the season possible player next year.” #TexansRadio — Nick Scurfield (@NickScurfield) March 19, 2013   It was a terrible injury that DeVier Posey suffered in the end zone versus the New England Patriots in the Divisional Playoff game tearing his Achilles. After speculation coming out Posey could be ready for 2013 training camp, it looks like he will be on the mend for majority of the upcoming season. Head Coach Gary Kubiak is looking for Posey to be an addition to the roster possibly mid-season of 2013 which comes as a disappointment for some. Posey was catching on to the offense late in the season and looked like he could easily be veteran Kevin Walter’s replacement opposite of Andre Johnson. With Posey coming along slowly it looks like he will start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform List (PUP) and open the door for the Texans to look for more wide receiver help. The Texans currently have four wide receivers under contract in Andre Johnson, Keshawn Martin, Lestar Jean and Jeff Maehl.
