The Buffalo Bills are reporting that Bills MLB Paul Posluszny had surgery Tuesday on his broken arm suffered in the season opener at New England Monday night. Head coach Dick Jauron provided an update Wednesday. ?Paul is through surgery and it went well,? said Jauron. Posluszny left Monday night?s game in the second quarter after tackling Fred Taylor on a run play. As for when Posluszny could be back in the lineup Jauron did not provide a specific target date, but indicated it will be quite a while. ?I?m not exactly certain about it, but we?re not looking at it anything like the last time he injured the arm,? said Jauron. ?We?re hoping to get him back at some point before the halfway point of the season.? Life without the team?s defensive signal caller will not be easy, but the plan going forward is to insert backup Marcus Buggs as was the case on Monday night. BuffaloBills.com source
