The Giants left New Orleans with more questions than they had answers. They were dismantled by a Saints team that is not much without it’s living, breathing Hall-of-Fame quarterback, Drew Brees. Ah, but they do have Drew Brees, and left unattended he can do severe damage to your football team and it’s psyche…. “We weren’t able to cover them,” Giants’ head coach Tom Coughlin said after the game. “They put themselves in position with simple little throws. They beat us in the flat a couple of times. And (they beat us) down the sideline. They have good personnel and they distribute it…They’re good. They’re talented. They do a good job of moving the ball around. The quarterback does a good job of getting the ball out of his hands. We gave up far too many points, obviously.” Coughlin had as rough a night as any of his players.
