The 2012 season is over for the Philadelphia Eagles and now we look onto the potential 2013 Philadelphia Eagles roster changes. The Eagles will potentially lose eight players to free agency this season, and that doesn’t even include the cap casualties. If you are an Eagles fan, you can stop celebrating the hire of Chip Kelly as your new head coach, because the Eagles are like a bird with its wings clipped this offseason. The Eagles are more than 25 million over the projected salary cap this season. Nnamdi Asomugha’s salary will have a cap hit of 15 million dollars, and he doesn’t have any guaranteed money. They can drop him anytime they like, and not take any repercussions to future caps.… Read more

  • Don't even bother reading the blog above because I'm convinced whoever wrote it has no idea wat he is talking about. First he comments that the Eagles MAY choose to release Demtress Bell since he is guaranteed a high bonus his year but it will be a risky move...WHAT??? A risky move releasing a man who lost playing time to King Dunlap and the rookie Dennis Kelly?...not to mention that Bell's multi year deal was never meant to be anything more than a one year deal anyway. The Eagles never intended to give him the true value of his contract. Secondly, he discusses the cap and doesn't seem to get how it works. Wasted my time reading it.
  • I wagree! These writers mailo it in! They have no idea what they are talkming about!
