Not much news to report out of the open portion of this morning's practice on Clarke Hinkle Field, where only safety Atari Bigby (knee) and left tackle Chad Clifton (ankle) sat out. Reporters got the boot earlier than usual, so it's unclear how much the other guys who were limited on Wednesday -- safety Nick Collins (chest), K Mason Crosby (abdominal), fullback Korey Hall (shoulder/concussion) and running back Brandon Jackson (ankle) -- did during team drills.The most interesting thing we got to see was an exceptionally spirited ball-security drill, in which three players attempted to strip the ball from one. There was a ton of chirping throughout the drill as players stood in a circle around the participants. At one point, fullback John Kuhn got bowled out of the circle and nearly took out defensive coordinator Dom Capers, who had to awkwardly jump out of the way as players roared.For what's it worth, there was energy out there.
