For the sake of argument, let us figure that Vegas knows the NFL better than we do.  If Vegas is setting a high number on the over/under for the game, that matchup tends to be higher scoring both in the real world and fantasy football world.  This article will highlight the 5 highest over/unders on the week 4 ticket, and which fantasy players for both teams could end up having a breakout game.

New Orleans Saints @ Green Bay Packers 53

New Orleans Key offensive players

Must-Starts

QB – Drew Brees, RB – Darren Sproles, TE – Jimmy Graham

Decent starts/flex depending on depth

RB – Mark Ingram ,RB – Pierre Thomas, WR – Lance Moore, WR – Marques Colston

Sleepers

WR – Devery Henderson

Expect Henderson’s numbers to be solid this week after he recorded 4 catches for 53 yards in week 3 vs. the Chiefs.  He is currently owned in just 4% of yahoo fantasy leagues.  If you play in a really deep format, Henderson could be a sneaky play in week 4.

Green Bay Key offensive players

Must starts

QB – Aaron Rodgers, TE – Jermichael Finley, WR – Jordy Nelson, WR – Greg Jennings (if healthy)

Decent starts/flex depending on depth

RB – Cedric Benson, WR – Randall Cobb

Sleepers

WR -James Jones

 It has been an up and down year for Jones as he opened week 1 with 81 yards and a TD, followed by 2 receptions for -1 yards vs the Bears in week 2.  If you are hurting at WR, Jones could be a decent pickup for this matchup.

New England @ Buffalo 52.5

New England Patriots

Must starts

QB – Tom Brady, WR – Brandon Lloyd, WR – Wes Welker, TE – Rob Gronkowski

Decent starts/flex depending on depth

RB – Stevan Ridley

Sleepers

RB – Danny Woodhead

Your running backs decimated by injuries?  Woodhead rushed the ball 15 times in week 3, as the Patriots tried to go more no huddle.  He is still behind Ridley on the depth chart, but could vulture a TD in a high scoring game with the Bills.

Buffalo Bills

Must starts

WR – Steve Johnson, RB – Fred Jackson (If Healthy)

Decent starts/flex depending on depth

QB – Ryan Fitzpatrick, TE – Scott Chandler

Sleepers

WR – Donald Jones

Jones is the No. 2 option at WR behind only Steve Johnson.  While Johnson/ Chandler get the majority of red zone targets, Jones could surprise plenty of fantasy owners in week 4 against the Patriots.

RB – Darren McFadden

QB – Carson Palmer, WR – Denarius Moore, WR – Darrius Heyward-Bey (If Healthy)

Sleepers

TE – Brandon Myers, WR – Rod Streater

Chances are the only widely used Raider this Sunday will be Darren McFadden as Darrius Heyward-Bey struggles to come back from the concussion he sustained in week 3.  If the Raiders fall behind (as usual) Palmer will once again start airing it out, and the beneficiaries at that point would be Moore, Streater, and Myers with DHB out.

Denver Broncos

Must Starts

WR – Demaryius Thomas

Decent starts/flex depending on depth

WR – Eric Decker, QB – Peyton Manning, TE – Jacob Tamme

Sleepers

WR – Brandon Stokley, RB – Who knows..(Ball/Hillman/Moreno)

Plenty of fantasy owners took a chance heading into week 4 on Lance Ball, Ronnie Hillman, and even Knowshon Moreno, but the fact is no one knows who will get the most carries in week 4.  One of them will probably break out, but there is no way to know before game-time, unless the Broncos release more info.

Atlanta Falcons

Must start

QB – Matt Ryan, WR – Julio Jones, WR – Roddy White, TE – Tony Gonzalez

Decent starts/flex depending on depth

RB – Michael Turner

Sleepers

RB – Jacquizz Rodgers, WR – Harry Douglas

The Falcons have so many offensive weapons it is ridiculous, and Jacquizz Rodgers has looked good backing up Michael Turner thus far in 2012.  If Turner ends up getting injured this season, he may not get the job back as Rodgers will then have a chance to shine.  If you want one of the best handcuff options in the league, pick up Rodgers and stash him for now.

Carolina Panthers

Must starts

QB – Cam Newton, WR – Steve Smith

Decent starts/flex depending on depth

RB – DeAngelo Williams, WR – Brandon LaFell, TE – Greg Olsen

No sleepers in this lineup, Newton and Smith remain must starts, and even though Vegas is predicting a high scoring game, the Falcons defense is one of the best in the league, so the flex guys are risky plays.

NY Giants @ Philadelphia 47.5

New York Giants

Must starts

QB – Eli Manning, WR – Victor Cruz, WR – Hakeem Nicks (If Healthy), TE – Martellus Bennett

Decent starts/flex depending on depth

RB – Ahmad Bradshaw

Sleepers

WR – Ramses Barden, WR – Rueben Randle

With the return of Ahmad Bradshaw, Andre Brown goes back to the backup role for the Giants, and even though he will see a few carries per game, it is too risky of a fantasy play.  If this game turns into another shootout, either Ramses Barden or Rueben Randle could see more targets in week 4.  If Nicks and Cruz are both healthy, neither one of the sleeper guys are a fantasy option in week 4.

Philadelphia Eagles

Must starts

RB – LeSean McCoy, WR – Jeremy Maclin (If Healthy)

Decent starts/flex depending on depth

QB – Michael Vick, WR – DeSean Jackson, TE – Brent Celek

Sleepers

WR – Damaris Johnson

In week 3, Johnson filled in for an injured Jeremy Maclin and caught 5 balls for 84 yards.  He could be a great flex play if Maclin sits again in week 4, and there hasn’t been much talk about him in fantasy circles, but Vick targeted him 11 times last week, so he is a viable fantasy sleeper as long as Maclin is out.  Wtih Maclin in, he is just an interesting sleeper to keep an eye on.

That is it for today’s article, let’s hope that Vegas got these totals right.  If all 5 games are high scoring there will be plenty for fantasy owners to cheer about.
