New York Jets
Pro: Unless new ownership comes in, GMs normally get 4-5 years at minimum to try and turn around a franchise. It always seems like they would get two coaches under their leadership and then if they fail, the GM would be the fall guy.
Con: Buddy Nix is in his 70s. He's never been a GM before this job. If it took him almost 30 years or whatever for him to get a crack at being the GM, maybe he was better suited for being a lifetime scout. He also hired a coach who won 16 games in a 3-year stretch, which is the lowest for the franchise since 1984-1986.
Pro: This was a MAJOR rebuilding process. This wasn't like what the Carolina Panthers or New York Jets future GM will inherit when he takes over. There was nothing but garbage here when Buddy took over. It was an old, talentless roster. Say what you will, but the talent is much better now than in 2009.
Con: The Bills have missed the playoffs for 13 years straight. A overhaul from top to bottom would/should be encoura...

The Buddy Nix and Chan Gailey era in Buffalo seems to have run its course.
Reports are that both will be let go within the next week.
Bills sources indicated the decision on the team's top two football men lies with owner Ralph C. Wilson Jr. and that Wilson had yet to make a decision on any of his employees.
The common thought is that Gailey is a sure thing to get fired...
A dismal season all around for both of these teams, but the Buffalo Bills managed to come out on top and finish the season on a high note, routing the New York Jets 28-9.
The Jets, due to a concussed Greg McElroy, gave an opportunity to Mark Sanchez once again only for him to disappoint. He turned the ball over twice, with of course, in what has become his season trademark, threw...

Bills running back C.J. Spiller hit a brick wall on most of his runs Sunday against the Jets (just 2.5 yards per carry) but he was able to salvage the afternoon by hauling in a 66-yard strike from quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.Fantasy Spin:The touchdown was Spiller's eighth of the season (two receiving, six rushing). Spiller's 1,244 yards rushing in 2012 are a career-high...

The 2012 NFL season has been filled with disappointment for the Buffalo Bills. Now that the regular season is over, the Bills will be looking ahead to free agency, the 2013 NFL Draft and the 2013 regular season. The Bills were a trendy pick to reach the playoffs at the start of the 2012 season but their season unraveled, and lost seven of their last nine heading into week 17. The...
After 3 seasons and a combined 16-32 record, the Bills have decided to relieve Chan Gailey of his duties as head coach of the team as reported by the Buffalo News. The firing was expected by fans after the team greatly fell short of expectations this season. Gailey is the first victim of a reported “house cleaning” that may be on the way. According to a tweet from the official...
Jerry Sullivan tweets that Bills G Andy Levitre indicated that he will seek the best available offer during free agency.
Levitre, 26, is clearly one of the best offensive lineman in this year’s free agent class and the Bills are more than aware of this. They already locked up fellow G Kraig Urbik to a four-year, $15 million contract extension not too long ago. The top five average...
The Buffalo Bills affixed a ''WWFD'' decal on the back of their helmets for Sunday's game against the New York Jets to honor two fallen West Webster volunteer firefighters.
Michael Chiapperini and Tomasz Kaczowka were killed in a Christmas Eve ambush when they arrived at a scene of a fire in the Rochester, N.Y. suburb. William Spengler set his lakeside home ablaze...
It's hard to know exactly what this game means to New York Jets (6-9) and Buffalo Bills (10-5) coaches and players. Pride? A last-gasp effort to prove worth before getting fired? Just staying healthy? No matter how you slice it, both teams look to put their respective tumultuous seasons to rest. The Jets blew out the Bills 48-28 in Week 1, but a 17-week gap and lots of misery...
