It's looking more and more as though Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor's sprained right knee will keep him out of Sunday's game in Houston.
A day after appearing to make progress on the practice field, Pryor suffered a setback on Friday and is listed as questionable.
Undrafted rookie Matt McGloin, the only other quarterback on the Raiders' 53-man roster, worked exclusively with the first team offense and will start if Pryor is unavailable.
Pryor, who leads all NFL quarterbacks with 504 yards rushing, wore a thick brace over his knee during last week's loss to the New York Giants when he was held to a season-low 19 yards on the ground and sacked four times.
McGloin could start after entering training camp fourth on the depth chart.

Today Terrelle Pryor was given a major vote of confidence. Pryor has been very impressive this year, and he is winning the locker room over. “He’s still a young player,” Allen said Monday. “He’s still got a lot of growing to do and a lot of getting better to do. He’s a talented player and […]
It's become evident the Raiders pose no threat to the undefeated Broncos and Chiefs for the AFC West division crown.
Terrelle Pryor refuses to write off the postseason, however.
Following Oakland's 24-7 loss to Kansas City on Sunday, the Raiders quarterback told Comcast SportsNet California that the team will make the playoffs.

Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor took the blame for Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs.
“What disappoints me is we lost the game because of me; that’s how I look at it,” said Pryor, via the Contra Costa Times.
“You know what?” he continued. “I deserved them hits, because I didn’t get the ball out, and on one play I called the wrong protection. You make mistakes like that...
I don’t know if Terrelle Pryor forgot he was in a division with two 6-0 teams, but hey If TP says it I believe it. Terrelle Pryor took fault for their loss yesterday against the Chiefs, but said the team will bounce back and make the playoffs. “We have to come together and start creating,” […]
The worst game of Terrelle Pryor's career won't cost him his job as the Oakland Raiders starting quarterback -- now or anytime soon.
One day after Pryor threw three interceptions, including two in the final 4 minutes of a 24-7 loss to Kansas City, Raiders coach Dennis Allen said he remains committed to the young quarterback and has no plans to make a change.
Terrelle Pryor has been quite the surprise early in the season and it looks like he may be the quarterback of the future for the Raiders. However, Pryor and the Raiders struggled last week against the Chiefs. Pryor was sacked 10 times and threw three interceptions and one was a pick six, but even with that game the Raiders know Pryor could be special and he needs help around him...
The Oakland Raiders are off to a 2-4 start this season, which believe it or not is better than most expected. However, they did not play well in a 24-7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. With the Chiefs and Denver Broncos both currently undefeated, Oakland’s chances of making the playoffs are diminishing […]
Hey kids, can you believe CBS just locked us up for two more years? Until 2015. Hard to believe it, eh Paul. 2015. I might be dead by then, who knows. Hee-heee! Texans coach Gary Kubiak felt an overwhelming sense of empathy for Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor when he watched video of him against the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend.
If Pryor turned one direction, he ran into Tamba Hali. Turn the other, Justin Houston was on top of him. Try to step up in the pocket and Derrick Johnson was waiting.

The Raiders faced a 4th and 48 in their loss to the Chiefs this week, which is, unofficially I believe, an NFL record. It was so bad that even a solid punt, 46 yards, didn’t reach the chains. Negative plays were a theme of the day for the Raiders, as they were sacked 10 times. Terrelle Pryor is to blame for much of it, probably more than the offensive...
The Kansas City Chiefs now play in the worlds loudest open air stadium. “In the fourth quarter, as the Chiefs fans were celebrating their victory, all of the sudden it peaked at 137.5 decibels,” Philip Robertson, the Guinness World Record adjudicator noted. “They screamed for an incredibly long time, probably longer than what I heard in Seattle.-KCChiefs.com The noise certainly...

3rd and 48, 11 penalties including several delay of games, one missed field goal, 10 sacks given up, 3 picks, one pick six, and a punter as the team MVP of the game, all equals probably the most Raiders game ever played.
