Mark Sanchez hasn’t impressed consistently in practice since his big Friday night. So says The Daily News’ Rich Cimini. Rookie QB Mark Sanchez, taking his turn with the second-team offense, struggled for the second straight practice. This was a rough outing, as he completed only four of 12 passes, with an interception and a TD. The interception, by S James Ihedigbo, was returned for a TD. Sanchez’ TD pass was a 45-yard bomb to WR David Clowney, reminiscent of their 48-yard hook up in the preseason opener. Before that play, the final play of practice, Sanchez had misfired on eight straight and took a pair of sacks. Yeesh. Bottom line: In two practices since his impressive debut, Sanchez has looked indecisive and his trademark accuracy hasn’t been there. But he did better in the afternoon right?
