The New York Jets brought veteran journeyman quarterback Brady Quinn in as an insurance policy after Mark Sanchez and rookie Geno Smith went down with respective injuries. The team released Quinn last week in a financial move. If Quinn had been on the roster for Sunday’s game, his entire salary for the 2013 season would have been guaranteed. In a move that was not unexpected, Brady Quinn will re-join the Jets this afternoon. The Jets already have a lot of guaranteed money invested in quarterbacks, with Mark Sanchez’s bloated contract.
