The Baltimore Ravens and quarterback Curtis Painter agreed to a one-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed on the deal for the 26-year-old Painter, who will reunite with former coach Jim Caldwell. Caldwell, who was fired by the Colts, is now the Ravens' quarterbacks coach. Painter started eight games last season for the Colts, who limped to an awful finish - and subsequent first overall pick in the upcoming draft - without the services of superstar Peyton Manning.

Baltimore Ravens 2012 NFL Schedule: Game-by-Game Analysis

Of course a full-scale, detailed game-by-game analysis of any NFL team’s schedule months prior to the first game, before training camp and the preseason, and well before final rosters are even set, probably isn’t the most useful exercise in predicting a team’s 2012 fate.  We should also recognize the absurdity of the NFL’s primetime showcase dedicated to the schedule release...

Loogit All Them Purdy NFL Pictures

At least the kid died with a creepy mustache. I know we’re all wrapped up in such pressing developments as the Ravens signing Curtis Painter, the Niners finally breaking ground on their super futuristic stadium and Brian Urlacher and Jenny McCarthy officially becoming an item, but better to spend a slow off-season Friday morning (one that just so happens to be 4/20) looking at...
