Saints-quarterback-drew
QB Rankings Drew Brees and Matt Ryan are two of the top fantasy options at the quarterback position in week thirteen. The Saints struggle on the road and the Falcons excel at home which leads us to believe that the Saints may be throwing a little more thus leading to Brees being ranked ahead of Ryan this week in my rankings. RGIII has a date with the New York Football Giants on Monday Night Football this week and with Garcon finally finding his health, RGIII should be more consistent for the stretch run. RGIII is the number one QB in standard yahoo and ESPN leagues. Nuff said. Colin Kaepernick was named the week thirteen starter and will probably hold onto the job throughout the regular season. Kaepernick was drafted to eventually supplant Alex Smith and it looks like that time is now. Kaepernick will have a tough matchup against one of the best cornerback duos in the league in Cortland Finnegan and Janoris Jenkins but has already shown the propensity to go with the easy matchups an...

Drew Brees 5 interceptions: The Worst Games By The Greatest QBs

Drew Brees is a bona fide future Hall of Fame quarterback. But he didn't look like one Thursday night, throwing a career-high 5 INT in a 23-13 loss at 11-1 Atlanta. We look at the worst meltdowns by the game's greatest QBs.

Saints lose to Falcons while Drew Brees sets 1 record and loses another

Not only did the New Orleans Saints bus end up with egg on it, Drew Brees record did as well. The Saints were in Atlanta to face off against the Falcons Thursday night. While the team started off the season in pure struggle behind b0unty-gate, as of late they’ve shown signs of pulling things together. [...]

Still eying playoffs, Saints get ready for Falcons

Drew Brees happily entertains playoff possibilities for the New Orleans Saints, figuring that the question of whether a 5-6 team deserves to be in the NFC wild card race is irrelevant. He has a point. Despite an 0-4 start and their latest loss on Sunday to San Francisco, New Orleans remains one game out with five games left. To Brees, that means the Saints are virtually in control...

Brees With-Drew From Scoring Touchdowns For One, Fateful Night

There was nothing special about Thursday Night Football from a fantasy perspective.  It was New Orleans vs Atlanta, a matchup that had produced plenty of points in the previous outing for all fantasy owners.  It was a night not to think too hard about the QBs or the WRs to start; it was going to be a fantasy smorgasbord.  But in real life, tension was building.  The Falcons came...

Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Matt Stafford - Will We See 5,000 Yards?

Every year, we are reminded how the NFL has become a passing league and if you don't have a franchise quarterback, you don't have a chance. Well, there is always a slim chance, but in recent years it has been the same names in the same game. With the passing boom of the 21st Century NFL, it feels as if defensive players appear to be at a slight disadvantage with all of the...

Girls Of The NFL: Week 13

It only took 13 weeks to get a half decent Thursday night game on NFL Network. The Saints are taking on the Falcons in a game that could pretty much make or break their season. At 5-6 they don’t have much room for error. We like them +4 on the road, especially with how erratic Matt Ryan has been as of late. A few other bets we like? Take the Eagles +10 against the Cowboys, the...
