Found October 01, 2012 on NFL Draft Zone:

Prior to coming out in the 2012 NFL Draft, nobody but myself was in the corner of the quiet linebacker from Arizona State.  It seems as if everyone and their mama wanted to jump on the “I can’t stand Vontaze Burfict movement”.  Well I stood by the linebacker and did several exclusive interviews with the quiet young man from California.  He seemed so intelligent, he sounded very mature and all he wanted was an opportunity.  After my interview a day later I found out that Vontaze failed a drug test at the combine, but that didn’t stop me from still rooting for him.  How can you not root for a person that has been through a ton of adversity.  The last thing he said to me before getting off the phone was, I made several mistakes in my life, but I am going to change them all, YOU WILL SEE.

Well ladies and gentlemen, Vontaze Burfict played this week as a starter for the Cincinnati Bengals and boy did he look good.  Burfict led the team with 8 tackles and had a crucifying sack on Blaine Gabbert and the Jacksonville Jaguars.  Burfict helped the Bengals come out of Jacksonville with a win.  Burfict has been playing lights out and has been a great asset to the Bengals.  While no one wants to talk about Burfict right now, because they will have to admit that they were wrong, it sure does feel good to know that you shouldn’t judge someone off of one mistake.  I wish Vontaze the best of luck in Cincy, and I hope you keep it up,  don’t quit and remember don’t let a person who writes articles on a computer get the last laugh.  Keep your head up and ball out son.

Cedric Peerman Of The Cincinnati Bengals Ran A Fake Punt Against The Jacksonville Jaguars

Cedric Peerman of the Cincinnati Bengals ran an amazing fake punt against the Jacksonville Jaguars that worked to perfection. Let’s not stand on ceremony here though. It is the Jaugars. They aren’t exactly an NFL powerhouse. We can wonder whether or not Shad Khan is furiously trying to sell the team back to whoever he bought it from. This comes from the NFL Redzone which is...

Five Keys: Week Four Postmortem

Sunday’s win in Jacksonville was the most convincing yet for the Bengals, and to me it showed a great deal of growth for the club.  Despite being down four cornerbacks and facing perhaps the best running back in football, the Bengals completely shut down the Jaguars in Jacksonville.  3-1 sure feels good. Let’s see how the Bengals did with the five keys this week: 1.  Stop...
