Former Buccaneers’ head coach Raheem Morris took a lot of the blame for the collapse of the 2011 season that resulted in his firing. Now with the Washington Redskins coaching the defensive backs, he holds no grudges nor is angered with the Tampa Bay organization. Speaking on 620 WDAE this morning, Morris talked about how he felt the time for the Bucs to spend in free agency was coming. “Right now is the time for those guys to spend money in free agency and they did. They are certainly committed to winning, they’ve done a great job,” the former head coach said. “It’s something you sort of knew was coming and could expect. You just like for it to happen on your time, unfortunately it didn’t. It is what it is.” Morris also spoke on the critics that said the Bucs quit towards the end of the season. He would admit the team did not exceute when they had to but did not “have the heart” to think that the team quit. Whether the team quit or didn’t execute is still up for debate and public op...
