Carson Palmer threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns, and the Oakland Raiders stuffed the struggling Kansas City Chiefs 26-16 on Sunday for their sixth straight win at Arrowhead Stadium. Sebastian Janikowski was perfect on four field-goal attempts, and the Raiders (3-4) nearly became the third straight team to keep the Kansas City offense out of the end zone. The Chiefs (1-6) scored their only touchdown with 2:27 left in the game. Darren McFadden ran for 114 yards, and Denarius Moore and Darrius Heyward-Bey had touchdown catches for Oakland, which has won two straight after losing four of its first five. Matt Cassel threw for 218 yards in place of Brady Quinn, who left in the first half with what the team called a ''head injury.'' Quinn had started his second straight game. The Chiefs have lost four straight and still have not led in regulation this season. --- Online: http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL

The seven best uniforms in the NFL today

Denver, CO. 2012 will bring a nice change for many die-hard Denver Broncos fans. After 15 years of having the predominantly navy blue jerseys for home games, the Broncos will be donning the orange for all home games going forward. Was The Carson Palmer Experiment A Failure?

To no surprise, the media is still negative when it comes to the Oakland Raiders when mentioning the team. They have had a decade-long drought, but the media blasts them as if they were an annual playoff team the last couple of years and have just fallen off. As if they have nothing else to discuss, the Carson Palmer trade, which was made out of whack, is the centerpiece to all discussions...

CHIEF CONCERNS

Crennel stupefied by Charles' usage

The Chiefs coach doesn't call the plays on offense in KC so, like fans, he also doesn't get why they only handed the ball to their best weapon five times during Sunday's loss.

At 1-6, laugh at Chiefs to keep from crying

KANSAS CITY, Mo. There comes a point where you have two choices: You can either storm the gates with torches in hand, or throw up your arms, laugh and walk away. Clark Hunt will be a rich man regardless. Whether you're riding shotgun or not, the clown car rides on. "They aren't going to cancel a game," Kansas City coach Romeo Crennel, that renowned leader of men...

Fans of The Kansas City Chiefs Don’t Seem To Love Their GM

This is the second time that we have seen an airplane flying over Arrowhead Stadium calling for the firing of Chiefs GM Scott Pioli, and yet it never gets old. If you haven’t read this piece on ESPN by Jeffri Chadiha you are missing out. Come to your own conclusion, but it is safe to say that Mr. Pioli is not loved by all. Article found on: Cosby Sweaters

Quinn being evaluated for concussion

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn is being evaluated for a possible concussion and his status for Thursday night's game at San Diego remains uncertain. Raiders' ground game took off late in win over Chiefs

For one week, anyway, the Oakland Raiders' beleaguered running game delivered when it mattered most. Other than a Week 2 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, when Darren McFadden gained 113 yards on 19 carries, the Raiders' ground game hadn't done much other than gain a tough yard or two. Certainly there was none of the consistency or even occasional fireworks McFadden...

Romeo Crennel had no idea why Jamaal Charles only got five carries

In seven words, Romeo Crennel explained why the Kansas City Chiefs are so bad this year. Asked after Sunday’s 26-16 loss to the Oakland Raiders why stud running back Jamaal Charles only got five carries, the Chiefs head coach seemed perplexed. “Now, that I’m not exactly sure, either,” Crennel said, per Associated Press writer Dave Skretta. Yeah, Romeo, that’s a question...

The Future Starts Now

The Kansas City Chiefs are bad.  Let’s get that out of the way first.  This team has not had a lead in regulation once all season.  The only lead the Chiefs had was when they kicked the field goal to beat the New Orleans Saints.  Instead of dwelling on how terrible this team is, it is time to look to the future.  With any future in the NFL that means what are we going to do...
