The Raiders finally addressed their dire needs at cornerback by reportedly agreeing to a contract with Super Bowl XLIV hero Tracy Porter.
The deal is worth $2.5 million for one year, according to ESPN.
Porter, 26, signed a one-year deal with the Broncos last season but played in just six games after falling out of the rotation when dealing with complications from a seizure episode over the summer.
But Porter is reportedly healthy again and provides an instant upgrade for the Raiders secondary. It’s nice also that the Raiders are for once adding a cornerback who wasn’t playing on the other side of the ball last season.
