Raiders’ free agent DT Desmond Bryant was arrested in Miami on Sunday morning for criminal mischief. There are still details missing as to why Bryant was arrested, but it is confirmed that his bond has been set at $1,000. Bryant has been part of the Raiders defense since signing with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Harvard in 2009. He played in all 16 games and started eight of them last season. His recent arrest isn’t expected to affect his stock in free agency, so he should be able to find plenty of interest on the open market. Initial reports mentioned that Cowboys WR Dez Bryant was the one who was arrested, which would have obviously created plenty of buzz given his off-the-field concerns. We have Desmond Bryant listed the No. 29 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
